Staff are fantastic. Shop has everything and more you'd require to go camping, with a huge range of stock that caters for all budgets. Large range of 23zero stock set up in back of shop so you can see before you buy.

I bought hiking boots on thursday, tried it out the next day and realised that the ankle part of the boots were too wide for me. Rang the shop and told them I had walked in it at home and asked if i could exchange for a different one but was excused of using the boots which would make it hard for them to resell. I agree there were a couple of little marks on the boot but nothing that could not have been quickly cleaned and put back on the shelf. Manager rudely refused to give me a change. I was going to buy more hiking stuff but will not put foot in this shop anymore. Would rather go to Kathmandu in the city. They should have a more flexibility return policy as the boot was not cheap.

A recent camping trip to San Remo almost became a disaster after I discovered that my camp gas stove lead was leaking. On closer inspection I realised it was a faulty o-ring. I made my way to Wonthaggi and asked for a spare at the local Tradelink. I was told that I would need to travel to Leongatha to secure a replacement. As a last resort, I popped into the local camping store. I was told that o-rings were not stocked. However, one of the staff came up with the idea of using an o-ring from a "Campion Comp to Pol Adaptor". I purchased the part removed the o-ring and fitted it to my gas stove lead. Brilliant "outside the square country thinking" from the good people at Wonthaggi Aussie Disposals! My camping trip was saved!

Amazingly rude manager, insisted that damaged stock had to be sold at full retail price. When questioned about the quality of the product was informed that I could take it or leave it. After receiving a disgruntled refund and commenting that I was not happy with with the service and that I didn’t think I would ever be back was answered with laughter behind my back and a “good for you”

Went there exchange a faulty gas stove, the old lady so called manager was very rude.didn't even listen to me properly.the other guy who worked under her helped me and tried to solve the issue.i didn't went there for refund, i just need a replacement for a faulty product.guys stay away from this shop.manager is rude and arrogant.

Good products and prices, but. The first staff member I dealt with was very friendly and helpful, however she had to get the manger to process an exchange due to a faulty product. I felt the manager was rude to say the least. Had purchased a tent 6 days earlier and one of the poles was faulty. She acted like this was my fault and claimed poles are not covered under warranty (the poles were faulty out of the bag). Then acted like she was doing me a huge favour for giving me a second hand set of poles to replace the new faulty ones. This could of all been done without the attitude.

The typical aussie disposals products, and the staff are lovely. Placed a hold with them, and travelled an hour to pick up but arrived quite later than expected but they had the stuff I asked for waiting packaged behind the counter with my name on it. Great service, and a real life saver.
