Aussie Disposals Warehouse Shop

We came to this place to see a roof top tent, they said it would take 1-2 hours to set up. We then went away and had lunch for 2 hours and came back and they hadn’t even starting setting up the tent yet. This is meant to be the only Aussie disposals store that has it on display.

When you are going to spend more then 3000 dollars and there is no other customers in the store, we expected much better service.

The cherry on top was when we came back and asked about the tent, the lady at the front desk was passive aggressive, and said bluntly ‘did I call you? ’ Expecting that we have nothing better to do on our Monday.

I guess we will be going to snowys instead.

I recommend this place is the very best to do the shopping for camping gears and snowing. Thank you all again.

Went to get some items for my granddaughters for our upcoming snow trip greeted warmly as walked in the store. Great service, very helpful and absolutely no waiting. Will be coming back soon.

Good old fashioned camping store loads of camping equipment, could do with a wider selection of fishing equipment

If you are an Aussie disposals type of person, they have what you are looking for and you know you are an Aussie disposals person when you know what I kean by that

Not as great as I thought would be. But still went back and bought some hiking boots at a good price. $129

Staff here were really helpful. Took some to choose some steel cap boots for gardening and the service was great. Thank you to the lady who put the effort in in helping me find the right pair.

Not what Aussie Disposals used to be
They used to be packed with old surplus arm supplies and I could spend hours going through the stuff they had. These days all they appear to have is cheaply made camping supplies, not even old ammo boxes. They do have a good display out the back of 23Zero rooftop tents, car awnings and a heap of accessory options. Staff are always very friendly, welcoming and willing to assist.

During lockdowns I would not recommend buying ‘click and collect’ from the Dandenong store. I received an email stating my order was ready to collect so after checking the website for opening hours and the collection address I drove an hour each way from the Dandenong ranges to collect my item. This was on a Sunday at 12pm well between their operating hours of 10-4. When we got there the store was gated shut with no one to be seen. Calling the advertised number led to an automated message with no further details. What a huge waste of time and fuel. I feel the reviews and ratings on this site don’t reflect their current business methods.

Best warehouse for camping and rugged clothing needs. Ridgeline is one of my favourite brand which is exclusively available at Aussie Disposals. It’s a huge warehouse with so many clearance sales and variety of products.

Sam has been great to deal with and this will now become my regular go to camping store.

Awesome store for camping equipment and wet weather clothes. Prices are competitive with others and some cheap specials. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Great place well stocked, offered to transfer items from other stores if they didn't have what I was after. It has a very relaxed feeling.

What a great place!
I was after some gaitors and had no joy anywhere. I called, found what I wanted, they were left at the counter for me and I had them in 20 minutes.
The shop is amazing, with so much stock. I loved it.
