The staff were really lovely but the manager seemed like he was on a power trip. Pretty upsetting.

Came in not long before close and the store manager Stewart spent time time showing me the different styles and sizes- to make sure I got exactly what I wanted! Super helpful, lovely atmosphere- cheers

I once put on a Camo jacket in this store and stood really still near the front counter. Nobody saw me for at least 17 minutes.

It was close to closing time when I arrived to try on pair of Blundstone boots, but Sam was really great. He didn’t rush me, was really relaxed and even showed me some other options. He didn’t worry about the time as many in retail do. Really great customer service. Meanwhile Flynn his offsider (who had been really helpful to me before Christmas) worked hard on closing up in the background … so Sam could give me his full attention. Thanks so much guys, you went well above and beyond. I got the right boot, in the right size and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back (earlier next time!). Regards, Leon

Aussie Disposals has lots of gear for camping and outdoor activities.

The outside is painted in camouflage colours, and it’s right next to the tram stop outside the Don Arcade, as well as being close to Glenferrie train station.

At first I didn't expect to much, but once I got chatting with the crew they were so incredibly helpful. Got my all ready to go on my first camping trip. The manager there was an absolute lad, real genuine bloke. Would highly recommend to give the folk here a visit, you wont be disappointed.

Haven't been there since. Have been visiting Army Disposals since I was a teenager. Great stuff.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Customer service greatly appreciated. I bought a pair of Blundstone boots the other day from them. One of the staff helped me pick out the right size, which ended up being too small and giving me blisters when I walked in them. I returned next day asking for a larger-size replacement, with the boots obviously no longer in a condition to resell. The staff-member hesitated for about a second, but then straightaway gave me a new pair. Surely he wasn't happy. I felt bad that he had to take a loss in this instance, but I definitely appreciated his good effort to keep me, the customer, happy. Which I most surely am. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Fairly decent range, not the biggest store I've seen but bigger than some. A bit short stocked on some items i.e sizes. Plenty of camping options, mainly for the weekend adventurer rather than army or police members looking to expand their equipment.

Not the best prices unless their items are on special, other then that they sell quality camping and outdoors gear and the store is very conveniently located near the Glenferrie railway station, nearby immediate parking is very limited

Well established larger store with some military surplus clothing and equipment. Good range of cheaper camping and outdoors clothing and equipment. Good service.

A good shop: have been here several times over the years. Army Disposal stores are harder to find now which is a great shame. This one is great value with helpful staff. They offer no-nonsense stock.
