Aussie Disposals City reviews
31Has a wide range of work boots to choose from. It’s the only store in the city to try Blundstones on. They cover Blundstone work series and fashion series. Recommended many friends to check out the store when it came to buying Blundstones. They also have many outdoor stuff. Friendly and knowledgeable staff members.
I bought Blundstone boots, a pair; Starting with fit and get right model / size, i said ok i buy it, then the guy serviced me took the pair i weared to find size, to the counter, then casher propose me those boots, and put those on the table. Then i ask for box, and he answered me 'we try to recycle boxes' and gave me same brand box but not the original box. It was disappointed they gave me the boots proposed to any customer to find size and not a brand new boots from original box; as I expect from an authorized re-sellers. The boots have some minor scratch as propably from customer try / fit.but looks fine and I decided to proceed with purchase. So without original box, i don't have also information about article code. So I was disapponted about the service this shop gave me. About the boots i will try them, they looks very good.
Great takeaway options, I loved the roast chicken, it was true to its label, it was fast nourishing food for myself on my culinary adventures through my house. 100% will buy again
Visited the store on Boxing Day. Bought a pair of boots and a couple of other things. Honestly, such friendly and helpful service from both team members I spoke to. It was a real surprise, I left with a smile on my face and will definitely be coming back)
Guys behind the counter welcome you with a smile, keen to help a particular product I was looking for. They’ve got variety of stuff, if you love camping make sure you go upstairs!
Pretty rushed service. Was buying full workwear gear. They didn’t let me finish just bcoz it was 4min after there closing time. Even though I was there 20 mins before they closed. Was going to spend $1000 on work wear. Only spent $300. As they would not let me finish, they even told me to just leave what I got in my hand and go. Will never go back.
Great range of adventure gear at affordable and competitive prices.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Awesome store to visit when in the cbd
I have always like Aussie Disposals. During these hard economic times when suffering is currency, I thought I would've had more money by now. When the Boat Comes in, hopefully there will be some bargains.
I came in here for some last minute items for a ski trip and asked for help finding them. I felt very well looked after by the staff member, who provided me a massive amount of assistance and was careful to recommend the right product for my needs and did not recommend expensive products where they weren't necessary. He knew about the features of the products and where it was worth going cheap, and where you got extra features for the money.
I'll write a review and then you'll start employing women.never have anything bad to say about these guys for face 2 face cs
no pretences like a whole heap of retail staff in mel trying to pantomime with you.
This place has great gear if you need to be warm or are planning to go MAD MAX when things go sour #survivalofthewisest
Found a really cool camoflauge sun hat at a great price. Haven't shopped at Aussie disposal for over 30 years so it really was a hoot to go back.
The assistance received from Aussie Disposals has been nothing short of fantastic! From a terrific assistant in Mt Gambier who put me on to the Melb City store for a difficult to source picnic set, I eventually found my product. The store manager even made a special trip to collect from thewarehouse. His crew, and especially Johnno, were a real pleasure to deal with over a week or two. Highly recommended.
We bought the hi-country 4WD mega mat. It is the best self inflating mattress we have purchased. We have tried multiple brands and swear by this one. We found that if you leave the valve open every morning and closed it back before bed, it gives the best result. Staff in the shop is super friendly and willing to help.
American (?) Manager was very helpful! Was able to order in a product that I couldn’t get anywhere else! 10/10
Melbourne's CBD outdoor shops were the secret equipment wise for me winning the World Record in 20km Cross Country Skiing in August 1991 yes aehy beat a 186 year old record getting all my gear on Sale for $320AUD.
Really great selection of camping wears at a range of prices, from work to bike locks, Aussie disposals has you covered with its selection
Very good prices. Helpful and friendly staff and wide variety of good products including some Australian made stuff.
Great bunch of people. Very helpful and didn’t make a fuss when I tried to return goods that didn’t fit.
Very good, would recommend, especially the staff: Canadian Jake. Should start stocking Patagonia though.
