I actually landed here after another baseball gear shop I was first going to was closed, luckily for me I did because I got the best help by the friendly staff who actually gave me all the time and care in the world to pick out what I was looking for.

Awesome place to go for all your baseball/softball/t-ball needs. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will actually stick to the budget you gave and not push to go higher.

Go there for indoor batting cage.use smith machine 1/2 hour for 25$, have a bat for u to used, no need rent

Once again great service from Cam, shared his baseball and glove knowledge with my son today, the guys have a great range of baseball gear no matter what skill level, I highly recommend Ausport, we travel from Bendigo to Knox just to shop there ️️️
Another great afternoon at Ausport, we spent 2 hours in the batting cages, the boys had plenty of hitting time aswell as some catching practice thrown in to break in a glove, great to see some new products and a great range as usual, thumbs up to the helpful staff ️️

Terrible customer service, as new to baseball was made to feel like we were annoying asking questions and expecting gear to suit our son. Would not recommend!

The most incredible staff you will ever meet. Have reservations about being new to the sport? Leave them at the door, because you are going to be welcomed and made comfortable immediately. A wealth of knowledge and understanding awaits you by the most friendly person imaginable. Could not recommend purchasing your baseball/softball gear at Aus Sport enough!

Fantastic range. Had everything we were looking for. Service was outstanding, the team offered to put our new grips on our bats and even mailed out the two we accidentally left behind. We travelled an hour and a half just to shop at Ausport (from country Vic), well worth the trip.

I contacted Ausport about an X-Plate bag I purchased that ripped along the zipper after about a season's worth of normal use. I wasn't happy with the quality to begin with and it wasn’t exactly cheap at $100.

Since I can't find any information on X-Plate as a company, I am assuming X-Plate is their in-house brand. Ausport claim these bags to be "the best on the planet" on their website.

Eventually, John (the owner?) phoned me up to tell me that there would be no refund or replacement and that I should have bought a more expensive bag in the first place. He also claimed that I bought it knowing it only came with a 3 month warranty. Untrue. That piece of information was only revealed to me on the invoice.

When I reminded John that I was entitled to a refund or replacement under Australian consumer law, he told me such regulations were “ambiguous” and that he wasn't about to give me "the keys to the shop" – whatever the heck that means.

Even better, he claimed that if he gave me a refund he would have to do the same for everyone else. This is actually how someone runs a business?

I have spent a lot of money at Ausport over the past few years and it is really disappointing they don't stand behind their own products or even value their customers. The quality of these bags are TERRIBLE and they will not admit it to it.

Not that they will care, but my business will go to Fielders from now on.
