Augustus Gelatery - Knox reviews
17 Finally made effort with space in tummy after meal at Knox Westfield ozone area. Tried a couple of gelatos before settling for Caramilk! So good and wasn’t overly sweet for me. Loved it.
My friends tried all sorts of other different flavours as well and totally enjoyed the wholesome taste of the gelatos.
Guy serving needs to learn about “service with a smile”. Looked too rigid
Great ice-creame selection including cakes, great location, fairly decent amount of seats for the small space.the service though, it's hit and miss. You either get a friendly team member or disinterested employees who seem more interested in chatting with each other. A little goes a long way with good friendly service. We prefer the Upper FTG store.
Rude and disinterested staff that were more concerned with chatting with their friends than serve waiting customers (with kids!) Not the first time we've been disappointed with the service but will probably be the last time as we won't be going back.
Fantastic Gelatery in Knox Ozone. So many yummy flavours including some plant based options. Scoop size was generous & the ice cream was delicious.
Love this place! Great flavours, lovely staff, cool store. I will say one thing though, the amount of things they mix in to their flavours varies quite a bit, I like it when they have lots! Not super consistent. Still delicious though
This afternoon, my wife and daughter visited Weatfield Knox. My wife attempted to purchase an ice cream for our daughter, but unfortunately, her phone battery had died, leaving her unable to complete the payment. She asked a store employee for a charger to charge her phone, which the employee provided. However, the employee refused to give my daughter the ice cream until the payment was successful, even though it was only for a small amount. I believe it was discourteous of the business to make a five-year-old child wait for an ice cream until the payment was confirmed. I was disheartened to learn about this incident involving my family.
Customer service was atrocious especially when we clearly said we wanted milo ice cream she comes back with chocolate and when it came to payment she was rude and pulled away the eftpos machine before I could see it approve. Training is definitely needed. We didn’t say anything to the young girl at this time as she clearly didn’t want to be there. And her mood bellowed through to the customers and it’s not a great look.
The ice cream is decent but the staff are so unhelpful. Multiple times waiting to be served while staff talk to each other and unable to answer any questions
Perfect place to visit after dining elsewhere if you're craving for something sweet. Lots of tempting gelato flavours to choose from. Be sure to check their allergy disclaimer if you have food allergy.
Want to be served by a grumpy teenager more interested in chatting to their workmate than serving you with basic manners? This is the place for you!
Amazing vegan options!
so many kids in the shop and no kids size ice cream available though.so bit of a waste
Delicious selection of flavoursome yum just not a huge selection
Really friendly staff but maybe not enough servers for the quantity of customers
Very decent overall
Great choices of ice cream flavours. We tried the cotton candy and the chocolate brownie with hazelnut and they were really good. The only thing which was annoying is the service. There was only one staff at peak hours on a Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of customers waiting to be served. The person who served was also not that friendly. Only for these reasons am giving them 3 stars.
The only criticism I have is that it was so difficult to pick a flavour - there were too many wonderful options to choose from! I ended up choosing the blood orange and peach sorbet as well as the milo/dulce de leche gelato. They were both absolutely delicious (however, I did sample many of the other sorbets and chocolate-y gelatos and they were all yummy)! The scoops were really generous in size as well!
So many flavours to choose from here and seemingly impossible to make a bad choice! Everything I tried here was amazing.
The salted caramel was perfect for my palate. The Bailey's one with brownies made it moreish. Liquorice had a good liquorice hit without it being overbearing.
The real surprise though was the plant-based Black Forest which really hit the mark with both taste and texture.
What a fantastic place! Ice cream is amazing. A great vibe - fun tables to sit at. Lots of people kept coming which adds to the feeling it is the place to be!
