Ordered a set of IEMs on the 6th, no update on tracking by the 14th, called, was advised they had simply not gotten around to shipping them; along with several other pairs waiting to be shipped.

This is unacceptable, especially considering I had paid for express freight.

Old mate on the phone then tried to tell me about some holiday in China, which I couldn't care less about. I ordered from a.com.au business.

Bloke tries to make me feel bad on the phone because he's the sole employee, I could almost hear the violin in the background. If you can't take the heat, perhaps stay out of the kitchen.

As someone who has managed picking, packing and dispatch for a high volume online store I cannot fathom how you would not have the time in the day to put a box in a box and get it picked up a carrier.

If he hadn't goofed me around I'd almost feel embarrassed on his behalf for being so inept, but alas, man has crossed me. Waiting for refund to hit account, have purchased elsewhere. Avoid.

Edit: Owner has called me to try and offer some recompense, I have plainly advised him I do not wish to deal with them. He is insisting on sending me some free IEMs, which I do not wish to receive and have made this abundantly clear. He is now texting me going on about this. Get a bigger shovel mate.

Purchased two products online from this store and both arrived around one month after ordering. I am very pleased with my purchases.

Do not use Audiophile Shop

I am currently attempting to get a wararnty refund for a DAC from 'Audiophile Shop Australia' but at this point am convinced they're ghosting me.

The DAC was delivered to them 6 weeks ago - they have not confirmed reciept of the DAC and have entirely stopped responding to my regular emails.

*UPDATE 2023.07.07: Thankyou for attempting to find our past correspondence - I have sent you a new email on the same chain which you (Aaron) have replied to several times before going quiet despite numerous reminder emails.

Had issue with left driver in Moondrop Venus and they swapped over quickly with new set! Thanks guys and happy to recommend Audiophile Shop Australia

First contacted these guys for some Moondrop Arias, they have just finished upgrading caps in my opera connacance tube amp and wow thankyou! It sounds amazing!

Have bought several custom power cables from Aaron now my system has improved considerably. I definitely recommend Audiophile Shop if you are looking for high end custom audio cable.

Well priced products, but unresponsive to questions or follow up so expect zero after sales service. Buyer beware.

I recently contacted Aaron to sample the Gustard A26 streamer/DAC. Communication was friendly and swift and I was able to visit his showroom and try the A26 in my own headphone system. I also compared a couple of headphone amps and purchased a SMSL SH-9. Both are now happily living on my stack and I am very pleased with the products and service received.

Ordered starfield from the store and spoke with Arron who was very helpful, delivered within few days through post. No complaints. Will purchase again:)

I regret buying from here. If you value after sales support then look elsewhere. The DAC I purchased on the 27/9/2021 blew the fuses twice so I requested a refund early November 2021 and to this day (13/2/2022) I have not gotten it. They have not contacted me in all these months. I've called 2-3 times, the last saying they would get the DAC back from a repair shop and call me back later that day (10/1/2022) which never happened. I am now seeking help from Fair Trading NSW and Consumer Affairs Victoria to get my money back.

In regards to the response. No, you have not emailed or called me about the dac being ready. You already have my details and I'm 100% sure my details are on the return form because half of it is literally for return details.

I’ve been drooling over the new Denafrips stack for quite some time. I finally reached out to Aaron for some advice and man I’m so glad I did. Aaron invited me to audition his Denafrips system he also suggested I bring my PMC twenty5 22 so I was sure the electronics would suit my speakers. We spent the better part of the day trying different power cords and ic’s and a very large quantity of speaker cables that Aaron was only too happy to demo. I was able to have input on how my new cables would look, braid connectors and so on. An absolute gentleman to deal with and really looked after me with price. Aaron even offered to come to my place and assist with setup if required. You just don’t get this service from any HI FI store I’ve been to before. Thanks Aaron! My neighbours hate you! But my ears are in heaven.

I highly recommend Audiophile store for service, advice and the right price. I can’t wait to see the new range of full range speakers you are designing, if they are anything at all like the quality of your cables (and I’m sure they will be) they will be amazing!

Took my money on the spot and then forgot about my order. Difficult to contact. Didn't reply to emails, web chat, Facebook or phone calls. Turns out what I ordered, and paid for, wasn't available. Did return my money eventually. Mistakes happen but you should be contactable to sort out your mistakes. Order #4205.

First time ordering off from this store back in June, the item I got in question was the 2021 version of the Moondrop Aria. The store itself just had a homely vibe to it that I got used to quickly and liked a lot despite my first time shopping at this store.

Will be coming back to order more stuff whenever I can:)

Ordered the starfields from their e-store during lockdown. Auspost managed to lose the initial parcel and I mistakenly blamed them. Aaron was very professional even though I was unjustifiably angry in my email and was kind enough to send another.

10/10 professional attitude and service. I will definitely order from them again and blame Auspost first next time.
