Stayed in a room by myself. Value was excellent as only had to pay for a single. Small room, but very comfortable and it was all that I needed. Breakfast included was a big plus. Bar and restaurant available if/when desired. Staff were excellent.

Disgusting customer service. Won't honour advertised price. Warning to anyone wanting to book they will accept booking & then demand thousands more.

Do not stay here. The staff have parties until 4am in the morning and then the owner will threaten you to leave if you try and ask whether the music can be turned down

The owner James is very friendly. When the car doesn't have enough gas, help me solve my urgent needs. It was recommended that we drive to the top of the mountain to see the sunrise. The location is great, you can ski just down the road. The scenery and atmosphere in the living room and restaurant are very good. I heard that the spa and sauna are also very good, I will try them next time. The room is indeed not big, but rooms here are generally not big.

Attunga is one of the best places to eat at Falls Creek. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and it is a great place to relax after a big day on the slopes. Thanks Attunga!

Horrible. Booked pre Covid lockdowns and I’m still trying to deal with making a new booking. My friend has a leg injury and they won’t take my calls or answer my emails to assist with the booking they already charged me for. PATHECTIC AND WONT EVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK TO!

DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS! The owner James seems to be of the belief that he can control the finances of his guests.

Long story short, after refusing to refund us for a booking last year due to covid restrictions, James stated he would honour our booking the following year. He then proceeded to charge and additional cost due to 'yearly price increases' which he had not mentioned the year before. After some hesitation we agreed to pay this extra amount as we believed he was price gouging but we agreed to move forward with the booking.days later James canceled our booking he falsified claims that our friend who was dealing with him was 'aggressive' on the phone. Completely false accusations. We have now been left with no accom and have paid for lift tickets, car passes and other accommodation which we will be very unlikely to get refunds for.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DODGY BUSINESS OWNER AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE MORE RESPECTABLE.

An older building but it's well maintained and clean. Great location too. Would recommend

I stayed here for a 4 day weekend during the 2022 snow season. The booking was held over from the lockdown period and it was great to finally get there! Lovely lounge and dining area with a nice view of the sunset and mountains.

The rooms are a little unusual, our room had two bedrooms and a bathroom in between which was a bit awkward. The ski and drying room is tiny so couldn’t get my gear in there most days so left it on the outside racks.

Quite expensive to stay there but that’s the snow right. Everywhere is pricy. But included a nice breakfast daily which was welcome.

Well maintained building apart from the pool and spa not working and lovely management team. Dinner was amazing!

The location is good for walking to places but you can’t ski in as there as it’s uphill. But all these are minor things.

Overall a great experience and would recommend.

An utterly poor experience where a lady, possibly one of the owners in the most patronising way gave a speech to the effect, ‘this is our home, we let you in’. You are a commercial entity and are not doing any favours to anyone. As all businesses go and life in general being courteous and respectful is good manners and is a reasonable expectation.

One of the rooms I booked had three beds but per the owner I had put in two guests, if it was a matter of price difference I was happy to pay for it as I had stated on arrival, although from my perspective I was booking a room which was advertised as having three beds so did not see an issue there.

I do now understand that as a commercial entity you have obligations on the number of guests and any liability therein.

Again all matters, this was trivial, should be addressed with maturity and tact rather than indulge in shouting at others and falsely assuming that they are out to gouge you off a few dollars. You have absolutely ruined our little get away for us!

Again all the best, please try and exercise brevity in expression

Always welcoming, James and his staff run a great bar, cosy atmosphere, open fire and one of the best apre's menu on the mountain.

The twin room we booked was lovely. Very clean, easy to find the room on arrival.
Was well accommodated with last minute booking.if wanting to book call the manager not online booking as calling direct will save you money.
Everything provided. Room has tv, kettle, tea/coffee but the lodge has everything you need and more and due to COVID we recieved a voucher for the cafe
-very happy.
Will make this our regular accommodation in future.

Visited on the 1st of November 2020 while we still have the COVID restrictions.
We arrived late without a booking and the owners were more then welcoming.
The room was small with just enough leg room to walk down the side of the bed but no more.
The room was extremely clean and the staff and owner were so friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.

Very, very poor experience with management, although I'm sure that the facilities and other staff are good.

Recognising that the ongoing pandemic has had drastic effects on all ski-field accommodation providers due to the closure of the mountain, my group and I were nonetheless extremely disappointed with our overall booking experience with Attunga Lodge.
I booked with multiple accommodation providers across the snow season and they all were able to communicate promptly and reasonably in response to the ongoing resort closures. Many also offered refunds immediately, with grace and understanding.

Attunga, however, took months to respond to emails. When we eventually phoned instead, we were answered by a manager who was quite unpleasant and became suddenly irate when we raised our suggestion of a partial refund, in recognition of Attunga's inevitable incurred losses.
Following the complete shutdown of the 2020 Falls Creek season we (and all other guests in similar situations, I understand) were eventually refunded.
I have no doubt the physical accommodation and staff are great, however the communication and customer service of Attunga's management was extremely poor. This was especially evident given the outstanding communication from other lodges around not just Falls Creek but the state. Some providers were not able to offer full refunds, but this was at least communicated respectfully and they offered the opportunity for discussion.
Overall it was a very unpleasant experience and neither I nor any of my group will be booking with Attunga again in the future.

Hosts were really decent and helped us plan our trip. I really loved the rustic vibe of lounge and sitting area
BUT room was Small and pool and sauna were out of order. No refund policy either so if you are going to book it be sure of it. For me personally it was expensive. Had I known earlier about room I would have gone For something cheaper. No parking in front of hotel, need to park it all the way down. Best of luckk for planning of your trip! All in all it was a average experience.

Due to the challenges of snow conditions plus Covid-19 restrictions, our dates so far have been rescheduled three times. James has been very flexible and helpful. We can appreciate how challenging it is trying to manage the current situation, yet still remain calm and polite, and looking after the guests to the best they can. At the moment we are still not sure if the new dates will work out or not, but we will be staying with Attunga Lodge, however long it takes.

Very comfy beds, not a bad size room but holy hell talk about hot room no air con in the room, not even a fan and the vent air from the hallway doesn't reach the room at all, even with windows open it is very warm. Not able to sleep, pretty expensive hotel when it's very hot. Besides this it is a nice place.
