Athena Cakes & Bakery / THYME on dalton reviews
40 Called up made an order for Znoud. Got told it was $35 for 15.
Received a call shortly after saying it would be less if I got 19.odd number yep.
Picked them up only to be charged $50
Taste of the Znoud itself was nothing special at all, found it to be quite smaller than other places.
Did some calculations and figured that 15 would've been cheaper than what I paid per Znoud ($2.30 v $2.60)
Not a great experience overall after hearing about the Biscoff and Nutella Znoud they had.
This must be the best fateh I have had in Melbourne. Not to mention the sweets are amazing as well. You must visit
I love this place, I come here often - usually in a hurry and they always deliver the goods! Food is very fresh and the staff are lovely, very polite and welcoming. Highly recommend
Beautiful, fresh food, huge variety, nice cosy environment. Great coffee and amazing customer service by friendly staff!
Wow bloody amazing food. I haven't had falafel like this since traveling. Bless you guys please don't change and forever a ongoing loyal customer xx
Eaten form here a few times. The food is made fresh and delicious. The store owners are friendly and generous, offering samples. Always lots of customers buying coffee so it mush be good, I will try it next time too.
Always fresh, always friendly, always walk away contented. No complaints here! And their maamoul at Eid times is top notch. I always pre-order and, although gutsier, am never disappointed
The best coffee shop I have been to, doesn't even compare to others in the area, coffee is smooth and full-bodied to satisfy your caffeine cravings.
Pastries are scrumptious and authentic, they also sell a wide selection of traditional lebanese biscuits and sweets at very reasonable prices.
Customer service is very friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended.
The first day they opened they had samples to try as I went to try it the worker said you must buy something before you take a sample. What's the point putting samples out if people cant try wont be back so hopeless.
Had Meat, Zaatar and Zaatar with spinach and veggie - they are very good. But very disappointed with Msabha and falafel, very plain taste, no salt, no garlic or lemon taste. Add everything at home plus tahini too. Three starsonly for that. Pies will recommend.
Tried to order twice through Menulog and doordash, but both times order got cancelled with no explanation.
Wow, what a find.fresh cooked food and cakes, even a gluten free cake.fabulous vibe, friendly with very good food.highly recommended
Best food best service I will definitely be ordering from THYME on Dalton for all my family get togethers I highly recommend THYME.
Amazing lebanese breakfast and sweets. Food is always fresh and tasty. Great customer service. Highly recommended
I have not had good lebanese pastries since leaving Dubai till now. The food and coffee was fantastic. Will be back.
Amazing staff, really friendly and welcoming, top service, very tasty food, prices are really affordable.
I and my family happy with everything and always will go there to buy the delicious food.
I recommend thyme on dalton and give them 6 stars.
Loved this place.
Food was amazing and service was even better.
Cant wait to go back
Cute little shop with indoor, window stool and outdoor seating. I've tried the cheese croissant, cheese and sujuk manoush, zaatar manoush and fatteh and they were all great. The coffee was tasty and piping hot as requested. They also have an array of very eye catching and well presented sweets.
It was nice hearing customers compliment the staff on the delicious food for those who are not used to Lebanese cuisine.
The staff are all lovely. Counter service just needs some improving which I'm sure they'll do as they find their feet with this new business. Will definitely return if only for those buttery croissants!
Edit: Came back the same night for dessert!
Finally the best Lebanese food outside of the middle East has arrived inMelbourne's North. Fresh home cooked foods at great prices. Absolutely love this place
A local gem. My husband and I make a point to stop in whenever we make it up to Aldi, and grab a coffee and something amazing from this shop. I think the lady there makes everything herself. There's so many different delicious cakes, it's like a little Acland Street in Epping. They also often have local honey and honeycomb for sale, produced in Lalor, which is the best I've ever tasted. Good coffee too.
