Felt very homely and welcoming. Sort of a 90's coffee shop vibe? Highly recommend visiting here

Great service. The big breakfast was very tasty and no where as greasy as most other restaurants. Eggs Benedict was also nice. The sour dough bread in both meals was crispy enough but without being tough to chew like some. The chorizo instead of a normal sausage in the big breakfast was a pleasant change. I’m a bit of a coffee snob from Melbourne but I found my flat white to be flavoursome with great aroma. The place is wall to wall wine so if you go for lunch or dinner you won’t be short on choice. The log fire was going which made the room warm and provided for a nice atmosphere.
Definitely a hidden gem in a quiet town.

Cafe was bustling with people in town for the car show and tractor pull. The owner Eric seemed like a great, hands on guy.

Second time trying this place…. 50 mins for plain toast, and eggs on toast? That’s just crazy.no apologies For lateness! Was starving. Seriously they were too busy chatting to customers inside. Won’t be back.

I love the ambience of this place, very warm and relaxing and inviting. The service is always with a smile and never a problem to make alterations to the menu. And last but certainly not least, if you want the best Long Macchiato in the Macedon Ranges or anywhere for that matter, you can get it here. Bianca is an expert at making that all important coffee to kick start your day. Thanks again Bianca

Went to get a coffee and got told they weren’t taking orders because they were too banked up, didn’t even say sorry and the guy working was rude. Won’t be going back there again

The angry guy behind the counter should learn how to speak to customers properly.wanted to order lunch at 12 only to be told *No more orders as we backed up * no sorry nothing.so rude I'm shaking my head just writing this. SO RUDE! Will not be back ever.you don't deserve any rating but unfortunately I can't post this without a star. You deserve NOTHING!

Went on a crazy busy night, staff were nice under the pressure and the food was definitely worth the wait. 10/10

Staff are very friendly and accomodating. The meals are prepared with local ingredients where possible and are very tasty. The atmosphere is also inviting.

Been here a few times for brunch and dinner. They serve simple, unpretentious meals which are reasonably priced, with a good selection of local wines. Friendly service from Eric and his team. If you want to dine with the locals, this is the place to be!

My regular brunch spot every Saturday! Love the warm welcome, cosy fireplace and great food and coffee.

While traveling on our way to Ballarat via Trentham we stopped for a break and had an excellent “big breakfast” with great coffee at Erics this morning. I definitely recommend this place.

We discovered At Erics by chance while visiting Trentham. A quirky little place with a lovely fire to keep you warm, excellent coffee and what could only be described as one of the best Ruben sandwiches around - they do it right! Truly worth a visit and now our "go-to" when we visit Trentham!

I do not think I have been in a restaurant like this and to think it is in a small country town.
I will not say anything about it only to say you will be pleasantly surprised.

Fabulous food, service & ambience. We’ve been for brunch twice & had the Big Breakfast - scrumptious & HUGE. We will be back for sure. Thank you
