Astra Early Learning - Port Melbourne

My son has been attending Astra for around 8 months and we absolute love it. The educators go above and beyond to ensure all the kids are happy, feel safe, feel loved and are well taken care of. Like most mums I have anxiety leaving him in the care of other people so it’s a really nice feeling to feel at ease when I leave him at Astra for the day. We get daily photos, videos & updates so I know what he’s been up to and how his day was. They do a huge variety of activities with the kids. He’s always in a good mood when I pick him up too so I know he’s had fun. Big tick for this happy mum:)

My daughter has been attending Astra for 18 months now and we highly recommend it. They have been super supportive, I've always felt the careness factor and love how they consistently use the app for daily updates. It helps us communicate with our two and a half year old knowing what she has done throughout the day to prompt for conversations, I also know how much she eats throughout the day which helps me understand whether she has a big appetite at dinner. But most of all, we have formed such great friendships and my daughter loves going every day to see her friends. Thanks Astra and team. Keep up the good work!

Both my daughter and I love Astra Early Learning. The staff are very warm and accomodating to my requests and my daughter’s needs and all emails and phone calls are efficiently responded to. The enrolment process was quick and simple and adding days only require a confirmation email instead of a dragged out process. My daughter always goes to her carers with open arms and excitement.

We absolutely love Astra Early Learning, as a parent and educator I receive all the support I need and my son loves the excursion especially when they go to the beach and the flower shop. It is so nice to see my son creating new relationships with their peers and educators. The extracurricular classes are amazing, Paul, Kate, Meg and Rachel do an amazing job each week with the children.

I have had my son at 3 daycare center's in total throughout his time in care and Astra have been the best I have encountered. Taylah (Assistant Manager) has been an absolute delight to work with. Nothing is ever too much trouble! The staff are all kind and polite and at pick up, they know the majority of children at any given time and can provide feedback where required. Their menu and extra curricular activities are fantastic. We have learning on languages other than English, a sister school in China, Sport, Science, Music etc - very happy with Astra Early Learning.

I would highly recommend Astra Early Learning – thank you and all the Astra educators for welcoming Charlie to the community. It was lovely for her to socialise and meet new friends. Thank you and the team for all your support and making the transition to daycare seamless. The initial drop off’s were difficult (as they always are!) but special thank you to Ling, Lora and Emma for your reassurance.

The space itself is full of light with natural materials and toys, the educators put so much effort into the daily activities to grow children’s development.

The enrolment process was easy and no fuss and credit to Taylah for her clear communication and responsiveness.

When I toured Astra the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. My child has allergies and I was very concerned about putting my child in care but speaking with the staff made me feel so comfortable knowing I can leave him here safely.

From the start, Taylah has been amazing. We were looking for a child care place from overseas, which I thought was going to be a nightmare, but she was very helpful, very clear and precise in her information.
When our daughter started, there was the language barrier and lots of morning cries but the team were very kind, reassuring. ‘School was great mum’ is now what she says and she loves her little friends and international teachers.
The place itself is great, bright, with wooden furniture and toys. Each level have their outdoor space m with plants, sand and many activity areas.
Kids do sports, manual activities, read, sing, socialise and eat very well.
I am very happy and lucky we have been able to join The Astra Learning family!

This centre is the best in Port Melb.
The staff are exceptional and caring, to the point of checking in on my daughter any day she’s not in or if she’s been unwell. They care and it shows!

The centre is clean and tidy which is hard to come by in day care centres. I toured others and by far this was the best.
Highly recommend!

Great childcare, my son used to throw up with anxiety every time we went to another centre. Not here, he happily waves me goodbye. Well taken care of and happy kids… what more do you want for working parents.

Great centre, very warm and welcoming. Cannot speak highly enough of the educators who are all so genuinely caring and attentive to the children in their care.

Wow! What a fabulous place!
Like most parents I had my reservations, would he be safe? Is it clean? Will he have fun? Will he be lonely? And the list goes on.
I can honestly say Astra ticks all the boxes!
My son started at the age of 2 and 9 months, I wish I had joined him earlier!
As busy parents we feel guilty that we do t have enough time (in this crazy life) to do all the fun things we want to do, Astra takes care of that!
Wouldn’t hesitate a minute! Best staff, do loving and all the kids love them.
