I had the good fortune to use the services of Dr Lisa Lin. I found her to be a calm, professional and competent doctor. I was very nervous and she had me reassured and relaxed very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend Lisa. Thank You.

I am an anaesthetist who has used the administrative services of AAG for a number of years. I have found the staff excellent. They do a great job getting all my surgical lists, informing the patients about fees, sending me any relevant information such as test results, sending out invoices and collecting fees. I believe they are one of the best anaesthetic groups in Melbourne.

Based on my experience with Dr. Timothy Lee, I have chosen not to proceed with my surgery with him as my anaesthetist. During the pain assessment Dr Lee interrupted me and stated "don't say I think" in response to my answer to a nausea question, as well as, frequently dismising my medical history of cardiac condition, and past history of tolerance for pain, and certain pain management, by stating "I'm not interested in that" and "that does not interest me".

The first minute I spent moving to private location and making small talk as I was on shift. 2 minutes within our 6 minute phone conversation, which has been sent to my surgeon as proof of this undesirable interaction, Dr Lee spoke over me and stated "How about I ask you questions so I get what I need quickly " interrupting my surgical history.

As a health professional myself I have not witnessed this behaviour with anaesthetists and their pateints. Dr Lee called me at 1650 which as at the end of business hours which was inconvenient. I personally would never speak to a patient the way I was spoken to particularly during a difficult conversation such as a health history. I never would tell a patient what words to use either. I know from working in this landscape that those answers are not really common from a doctor in regards to telling a patient how to speak and answer.

His manner was incongruent to the information hand out emailed to my private email, which empahasised the importance of taking a thourough assessment and to ask Dr Lee any questions. I did not have a chance to answer the questions calmly let alone ask any additional ones. The total phone was 6 minutes as I could not continue to be spoken to so dismissively so ended the conversation.

Based on this experience I have not used him as my aneathetist, and will not, under any future circumstances.
