Associate Professor Amar Trivedi

I was referred to Professor Trivedi by my GP. Going to the clinic I was nervous because I hadn't seen a male dr for gyno issues. His receptionist is very kind and calm making you feel comfortable. I was put at ease pretty quickly, Dr Trivedi is very knowledgeable.
I have had 8 years of back and forth dr visits with other GPS and specialists I am now getting my life back because he actually listened to my issues and had a plan for me that worked.
He was very quick with paper work going straight to the hospital and I was in surgery within 6 weeks.
I no longer have to question myself and my body. I no longer feel like I'm going crazy!

I have been seeing professor Trivedi for 5+ years now and would recommend him for both gyno and obstetrician! He saw me through the whole of my last pregnancy which was high risk and I was cared for to the highest standard then and still now. He listens, understands and is so thorough with everything. Highly highly recommend.

I saw Dr Trivedi for a colposcopy in 2019 (or 2020) on referral from my GP. It was an unpleasant experience. He treated me coldly, made assumptions about my personal life, hurt me, and left me quite traumatised. I sat in the car and cried afterwards. I have since had a colposcopy at Monash and was fine. The worse part was the procedure was unsuccessful and could not be analysed anyway.

Right from the first interaction, Dr Trivedi’s calm demeanour and patience put my anxiety at ease. Even though I had opted for the public healthcare system for my delivery, I continued consulting with Dr Trivedi throughout my pregnancy and I’m glad I did so as his consults were reassuring and thorough.
