Fantastic service from Max and Arden who delivered our stone coffee table on one of the rainiest days. They were professional and quick to get the job done carrying the table up three flights of stairs. Would definitely recommend!

After having a few awful experiences with other companies we decided to give them a try and booked them for collection and delivery of quite a bit of stock, with assembly in our showroom.

Not only was the delivery smooth, on-time and with no damages in-transit but their team who provided the assembly services went above and beyond on the day and acted very professionally in a busy showroom full of customers.

We'll be using them for all of our big stock transfers and showroom assembly needs from now on.

The stressful situation of putting together furniture was solved by Assembly Now. Tommy & Corey arrived on time, and worked from the moment they got here till they left. They asked directions for where furniture needed to be without any fuss. They even helped me out moving a few things and assisted with making the best positioning of the furniture. I purchased a sofa from Hay Shop (Sydney) and was advised by the store that the delivery service (Assembly Now) had my sofa, yet it took a few more weeks to be contacted by Assembly Now to arrange delivery.

When I was finally contacted it was all quite efficient, and arranged over the phone for the next day. I received an automated text messages on the morning of delivery advising the truck was approaching … then 20 minutes later another one to advise that delivery was successful (it wasn’t, and I was left wondering where they were before receiving another message - it seems I received the delivery messages for the delivery immediately prior to mine).

During my actual delivery I was making small talk with one of the drivers who told me he was “so hungover I was throwing up behind the warehouse earlier”.

After my new leather sofa was unpacked by the not-so-sober Assembly Now delivery man I noticed some rather large scratches in it (vaguely in the shape of the Nike swoosh logo). Follow up by Assembly Now was to come back for a look and to make a vague offer to pay for a leather cleaner (they didn’t).

The moral of the story? Do not purchase furniture from Hay Shop/Cult Design unless you can arrange for your own delivery, as expensive items from these suppliers require a ‘white glove’ service, which Assembly Now do not provide.

After booking delivery on a Tuesday to be completed on the Friday Assembly NOW called on the Wednesday afternoon for confirmation of a timeslot. Unfortunately I missed the call and when attempting to call them back the next day received no answer. I immediately sent a text message confirming my availability with a nice wide 6 hour window and received no reply. I called the intermediate freight company also, they attempted to contact Assembly NOW and received no answer on the Thursday afternoon.

Was finally able to contact Assembly NOW first thing on the Friday morning only to be told that the delivery would now not happen until the next week as the truck had left without my item. Highlighting that I had organised my life to be here to accept this delivery and I didn't have the same luxury the next week, the response was "that's too bad everything was locked in on Wednesday for today, if that doesn't work call the retailer". Retailer tried to sort it but ended up back at the circular "how about we deliver it on a day when you cant be home" discussion.

1 star review is for poor and late communication, failing to answer repeated attempts to communicate on the Thursday to make sure it was delivered as booked. Failing to follow up (eg provide customer service) at all on the Thursday to lock in a timeslot and finally not attempting to resolve the situation in any satisfactory manner to deliver the item in a "punctual, reliable" way.

I've never had a large item delivery booked in for a specific date in advance that is simply not put on the truck. Naturally now there's lots of finger pointing going on which just adds to the frustration.

Great service for delivering and installing a bed frame from Snooze, from the online tracking to the fast and efficient setup.

This company is AMAZING! So friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help me out when I wasn't available for the delivery. Everyone I encountered was absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with. If I could give them 10 stars I would. 150% recommend.

They rang to say they would be early for the delivery by an hour, giving me 30 mins notice. Fine because I had enough time to leave work early, but then we’re 30 mins late with no call or apology on arrival

First day they attempted delivery they never called for the warning at all.

Took time of work and waited for the delivery to come. When I hadn’t received a sms I called to enquire where it was and was told it had been rescheduled except I hadn’t been notified! What a waste of time ️

Hello I called your office on Tuesday after receiving a sms with the delivery time of 12: 30 - 3: 30 pm. I asked the girl on the phone if she could possibly give me an indication if the delivery would be closer to the start of the time frame or nearer to end of 3: 30 pm, as I would need to organise to pick my kids up from school at 3.30. I was informed that it would most likely be earlier and that if I hadn't a sms by 3pm I should call the office. I never mentioned that this time was unsuitable as I could call a friend to pick my kids up if the delivery was running later and there was never a discussion of rescheduling. So i waited for the delivery on Wednesday and when I didnt receive a sms i called the office to be informed that my delivery had been rescheduled and that I should have received a phone call. However, I never received a call!

We ordered a bed frame with delivery plus installation from Snooze. The delivery & installation was done by assemblyNOW.
They made contact and arrived within the agreed time frame. They installed everything quickly. And most importantly, they spotted some minor defects that came with the goods and immediately reported to office for replacement. Very impressed with their quality and professionalism. If I were to installed that myself, I would definitely have overlooked those details.
They don't just do subcontracting, they also deal with individual customers for any furniture assembly. 5 stars services. Highly recommended.
