Oyster blade was nice, spicy pork belly was yummy. KFC was dry. We were not able to order off the menu. Was told they don't do that anymore, just the all you can eat. Not impressed.

I ordered bulgogi with uber. Filled with so much cabbages and few pieces meat. Not sure if this restaurant knows proper recipe.

Apparently you can only eat bbq in shop and noodles to take away. Use to like eating here.
Supervisor is rude today!
Spend my money elsewhere

Previously a frequent customer but once again I have received incorrect order using uber eats app. Store unhelpful, not worth the hassle.

The place was meh. The meat cuts re chewy and tough. They put baking paper on the grill so the meat tasted steamed rather than grilled. The pre-cook selection is minimal. The dessert options was woolies ice cream and mini cupcakes. I guess if there’s no other k-bbq restaurant in the area, this will suffice. However, if you can travel to the city or the east side. I highly recommend going to other places.

The dine in ala carte used to be great. It has however recently changed to all you can eat kbbq which was not what we were after walking in one day. I’m not entirely sure if converting to buffet is an ideal move in this covid era. Food (cooked) were mostly exposed with no cover and raw meat didn’t look fresh either. The grill wasn’t working optimally as well and doesn’t give the typical char that you get from other kbbq. We definitely won’t be back for dine in anymore, maybe just the occasion takeaway for ala carte.

Not the first time we've been cancelled out our booking due to 'over booking'. What's more annoying is, only until we turn up they tell us. Ruined two Saturday nights. Sorry guys but you calling us later and offering a table is not good enough. Pick up the professionalism.

Read quite some good reviews about their KFC so decided to give it a try, huge disappointment, ordered 1/2 portion of original (not crispy & tasteless), 1/2 portion of smoky soy (not crispy, does not taste like smoky soy jus sweet) & 1/2 portion of snow butter garlic chicken (not crispy & no taste of butter garlic just sweet too). Oil use is not clean, seasoning coating in chicken very doughy & tasteless. We cannot bring ourselves to finish them.

Tried all you can eat korean bbq! You pick your own food from the mini buffet bar. Plenty of meats to cook in front of you. Korean fried chicken was yummy and was one of the foods that went quickly along with the beef quesadilla. What a good experience!

I went here because I read good things about this place. I think I had higher expectations of the food. We had the korean bbq.
The service and waiters were polite and accommodating, however I felt there wasn't much of selection for BBQ.
The meats were ok but the prawns tasted way too fishy my partner and I couldn't eat the prawns.
Was way overpriced.
Maybe for someone with a big appetite it's worth it.
Also I wanted to have fruit but it was empty with a few small slices of oranges it was empty when I got there and no one filled it up.
The venue is a bit too small and squishy for an all you can eat place where people need to walk and collect what they want to eat and cook.
There needs to be more space for people to comfortably walk around without bumping into each other especially where the water is. Wasn't any room.
It wasn't as good as I hoped.

Would not recommend coming here. Horrible customer service. Not one staff member helped us after we waited 20 minutes for them to clean our table.
Made a booking via email and we weren't told there was no regular menu. The man who served us was extremely rude and wouldn't even let us order from the takeaway menu so we walked out.

Definitely not recommend. We ordered take away on Easter Saturday. It’s not busy at the restaurant and it’s for takeaway, they still charge us extra 15% holiday surcharge. They didnt even inform me there will be surcharge when I ordered takeaway, it’s just unreasonable.

I'm not sure how they have such a high rating. Quality of the food was the quality you get qt the food court of a shopping centre. Nothing is labelled so you are unaware of what you are eating. They have 1 paper advising they will charge 10 dollars per 100 grams of uneaten food left at your table which is great for food wastage BUT label your food so people are aware what it is and if they don't eat that specific item they will not put it in their plate and be charged for not eating it.
Very small area where food is served. As they have allocated times for all you can eat, you can expect it to be busy and a lot of waiting to get food due to the small area where the food is located. Essentially it is the size of a little bar area.

Had a delicious bbq buffet last night at ASSA. Great value, so much selection and all of the food was to a good quality. Portions on the buffet were not huge which is great - means that food was replenished often.

Favorite non-bbq things were the cold noodles, beef bulgolgi, fried chicken and endless kimchi. Favorite bbq items were the pork belly, cheese sausage and the rib meat (soooo good).

Not sure what all the comments in other reviews about the service are - it’s self serve! And the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful! I took off 1 star because it was SO Smokey. Which is sort of expected with bbq but I think upping the exhaust a bit would take this to a 5/5! Can’t wait to come back

Probably one of the worse places I've ever been to.
Went in on a Friday evening and when we walked in the Manager/Owner asked if we had a booking and I said No, he had a think for a few seconds and said as long as ur quick, boy that must've been a joke. We sat down looked and the menu and were trying to get their attention for about 20 minutes and they weren't even that busy, probably about 4-5 tables sitting in and one large table that was dirty for about an hour but had uber and take away orders. They were already struggling so when all the bookings came in they were lost. Apart from the Manager/Owner the other 3-4 staff couldn't communicate because of the language barrier. We should've known then to leave but we were there and we praying that the food was better than the service but unfortunately the food and service was consistently non existent
The night was a disaster and I can't believe how this business is still running, maybe pple are just desperate atm with heaps of restaurants closed because of covid.
I can go on forever and tell u about the whole experience here but I'll be writing for the next 7 hrs.
Definitely DON'T eat here as the Service is non existent and the food is shocking and prices are ridiculous.
2 many great restaurants/Cafes in Melbourne to go to places like this
The only reason I gave one star is that's the lowest rating I can give, they deserve a -5.

Great little find. Best Korean BBQ in the area. Staff are very attentive. BBQ meats are fresh and tasty. Plenty of extras offered with them. Authentic Korean taste.

Food was goodness, I heart AssEatery. The service was questionable. Had a bit of a giggle over how socially enept the worker was, no communications between us just them blatently failing at setting up the hotpot.

We had a booking and popped in early to which we were accommodated for. The staff were incredible placing us at a table out of the sun beaming through the windows as requested. Throughout the night the team were attentive and the food was delicious! So great to find a Korean BBQ closer to home rather than going into the city, will certainly be returning again soon. Thank you ASSA team for your outstanding service and relaxed atmosphere.
