Aspire Childcare, Early Education & Kindergarten - Werribee, Riverwalk

I would put negative if I could!
There are better childcare around the area to consider - if you are thinking of this centre for the 3 or 4 year olds, I would heavily consider another centre.

In summary:
- Ill equipped centre management (4 changes in a year) all who promises things and never followed through
- Ill equipped educator - 4 changes in a year. No formal / follow through with curriculum for 4 year old kindergarten. Hardly any intentional learning through play - expect to be lead by child’s play without any effort into theme/focus area to encourage curiosity and learning
- Comparing to other childcare with kindergarten program, this is subpar and I have no idea how their curriculum was approved. They did not have adequate preparation for basic readiness for school at all! For eg. Parents had to championed for lunch box program that was pulled together last minute sloppily. Show and tell program that was inconsistently followed through. Children did not have proper program to encourage mat times / pencil grip etc. My child often comes home and tell me he wasn’t painting or drawing as he was told there was no paper
- Babysitting kids at best - and even then, they are ill equipped to keep children safe. Children are constantly getting hurt with no formal / adequate action plan for kids who are constantly hurting other kids
- Formal complaints put through due to child getting seriously injured where my child was sat on, hurt numerous times and bitten (needing antibiotics) by another child at centre and management deemed that they had adequate supervision. My worst nightmare on how much they care for children!
- Little to no updates daily on app and less sporadic observation completed on child. Management promised daily picture and verbatim update with monthly observation- this was NEVER follow through and has to constantly be chased up.
- Subpar food since the original chef Mary left. Child with allergies had many close calls as no formal control was put in place

I have 2 children who have attended this centre since it opened. There has been a large turnover of staff in the time we've been here (like most centres these days), and while many of our favourite educators have moved on, my kids have adjusted relatively well.
I will mention, however, that follow-up with behavioural issues and incident reports are not well managed. Keeping quiet about educators leaving is also not well received, as this does not allow the kids or parents to show their gratitude and farewells before they disappear without a trace.
With regard to who is still employed, I would like to highlight Jo, Rhiannon and Fanny as being imperative to our kids education and happiness within the centre.

I’m very happy with the management of this Childcare Center. All my requests, suggestions and questions have always been resolved quickly. I felt very well looked after when discussing the multilingual background of my son with Pallavi who is the manager and with Sharon who is the group manager of Wetlands.

There hasn’t been a single day where the management has not greeted me with a big smile in the morning. Extremely friendly staff!

They have a gastro outbreak at present and parents are not being informed. I rang them this morning to see if they are doing a deep clean only to be told their cleaners come in at night to clean. When you have a gastro outbreak under the health department you need to do 2 deep cleans a day until it's finished. I also asked them if they had contacted the health department only to be told we don't have to. Wouldn't it put parents minds at peace to know that this centre was doing everything possible to make sure our little ones are safe.

Simone and the team at riverwalk are fantastic! We absolutely loved the centre. Everyone was so friendly. But absolute hi-5 to Simone, Jo, Krystal & Manasa!

My kid was going there for 6 months but we found the staff where making no attempt to settle her. Even when we drop her off crying all they did was take her to the carpet and leave her. When we told the manager we got told they placed her with her friends. What they didn't know was we watched them dump her by herself still crying and went back to talking between. When we told her tonight that tomorrow will be her last day she jumped up and down dancing so excited. And we can go on and on with more complaints like never any art work in her room. When we pick her up being Soaking wet and I'm not talking about her nappy. But they changed her nappy But not so clothes. We have never seen the same person in her room twice. When we pick her up at the end of the night the staff don't even look at us never less tell us what our daughter has done for the day. Unable to answer any questions. Rather just stand there talking To there friends Then parents.

Friendly and supportive staff. Lots of activities. It's amazing to see that everyone knows everyone inspite of it being a big childcare centre.

My kids really love going to Aspire, they call it Aeroplane school as there's a aeroplane in the outdoor play area.
Great centre for all age groups with friendly staff, the children have so much to do and learn.

Aspire is an upcoming and brand new Childcare centre in Riverwalk Village! The Centre opened in one of the toughest times under the cloud of Covid with sickness, ill health and uncertainties.
I have to admit I didn't have a good start with them but over a period of time I can see the amount of hardworking Simone and team and the challenges faced by them. My Son Ethan is having a great time and although he has been sick a few times but the staff have been on top to inform and educate us about his health.
I cannot thank them enough for looking after our son and having the privilege to be back to work knowing we have experts looking after our son. Thank you so much Aspire Childcare from the bottom of our hearts for all your services.

Both of my sons attend this daycare and we have found all the staff to be motivated, encouraging and full of energy! Exactly what the young ones need! The management team are caring, understanding and extremely efficient. They are lovely and genuinely care about the kids, they build one on one connections to help build the trust between them! Overall they are a wonderful team and I can rest knowing my children are in the best care.

Aspire Riverwalk is absolutely fantastic! They thrive on making a comfortable, welcoming, respectful environment for your children to learn and grow. All staff are supportive and helpful. Definitely the very best local childcare.

We've been at Aspire Riverwalk for a few months since moving from a previous centre we were unhappy with. My son has additional needs which they have always been accommodating towards and taken seriously. Staff are always smiling and friendly which tells me management are doing a good job!

Educators and management are always so nice and helpful with everything and very accommodating. Our son absolutely loves going there and is so happy everytime we pick him up and how much fun he has.

Has been the warmest welcome and beginning to our childcare journey. We have loved the willingness to get to know our family, have a chat and take the best care of our bub.

Aspire is like family to us, every morning we get greeted with a smile as soon as we walk in. My daughter loves going and i see so many happy photos of her having the best time. Amazing centre; amazing staff & management.

Before Aspire we had gone to other childcare near by I took my son separately one day and my husband took him separately we both felt an energy that we wouldn’t send our son there. Then we arrived at Aspire early education Riverwalk and the whole vibe, positivity, acceptance and cleanliness was just something we loved about this centre.
I would recommend all the surrounding parents to worth try this place as a FTM I never felt confident leaving my son anywhere but Aspire is somewhere my motherly instinct feels a lot confident to send my son here ️️ All the staff is so amazing and so supportive ️

The team at Aspire are nothing short of amazing. They are so friendly, caring and passionate in caring for not only my children but all the children that attend. The educators are attentive to each individuals needs, going above and beyond every time. The centre itself is set out so well. The rooms are colourful and fun! Management are always transparent, great at communicating and are always creating fun days/events for our children.

This centre is my son's first childcare and the educators handled his admission and settling in really well. The educators are very professional and skilled and the dietary requirements for kids are also met. The kids also enjoy being outdoors with a lot of play areas and fun events. Regular updates on happenings inside the room to gauge what your kid is upto. Ample car parking space is also available. Overall an excellent care centre in the community.

We couldn't be happier with the Aspire Riverwalk centre. Our 2 daughters attend and love it. Where do I begin? The centre is always clean and tidy, the staff are welcoming and do an amazing job at educating the kids and really get on their level and interact with them during everyday play/interactions, not to mention how they get involved in the fun on special days the centre host. A big shout out to Kinga, Jared and Tess who my kids have gotten to know along the way and honestly love when they are working but really all the staff who do an incredible job. My kids enjoy the food they are served (probably even more than my cooking), thanks to Mary, always smells delicious when you walk through the centre. Simone who manages the centre is just the best, has really put the effort in to get to know families and says hello to everyone as they enter and leave. Another big thing for me is communication and ive never had an issue, Simone is always on the front foot with providing information that is important or relevant without needing to be asked or questioned. All in all a big thank you to Simone and her team for the incredible work they do daily to shape the lives of our kids. I appreciate what you do so much and couldn't do what I do without all of you.
