Asiana Kitchen reviews
47 Food was sensational. Ordered honey chilli pork, Sizzling pepper beef, fried rice and chicken skewers.
Will definitely be back again.
I love this place. Delicious food and a great price. Great combination fried noodles (photo attached)
Popular Malaysian restaurant located in Lysterfield. They are famous for their WTH, roast duck and tofu with pork mince on hotplate
Best local Asia restaurant, been there so many times and not one time feel disappointed, recommended booking in advance in busy hours.
Great food, great selection, great customer service highly recommended.
The food prepared by this restaurant is ridiculously tasty. Been twice for take away. Sensational. Well done! Great business you have there!
Food is always good. Friendly staff. Not a star restaurant to dine in. Good for a quick meal or takeout
My top favourite three dishes:
Wat tan hor, the best I've tasted in Melbourne - thick runny eggs sauce with smokey hor fun packed with flavours.
Hainan chicken with noodle soup - chicken pieces are tender & juicy, and the broth is light and hearty, perfect for when the weather is cold.
Chicken stir fry with veggies & cashew nuts - so good to eat with steaming hot rice.
Staff is always friendly, helpful and provides great customer service.
For first-time visitors, indulging in their coconut butter chicken or prawn is an absolute must. Deep-fried to perfection, the chicken/prawn boasts a crispy batter with a delightful crunch of coconut goodness. The mee goreng and char kway teow are also highly recommended, exuding the irresistible smoky aroma of wok hei and expertly seasoned to perfection.
It's worth noting that this popular eatery tends to get busy during lunch and dinner hours, so a brief wait may be necessary. For takeaways, expect a wait of approximately half an hour during peak times. Ample parking is available, although finding a spot may require parking a bit further away. To beat the crowd, it's advisable to arrive early. Lastly, please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Great food reasonably priced with friendly staff. Wife loves the roast duck with dry noodle among other dishes. Pity they don’t deliver to Cranbourne
I tried their special fried rice and hot-sour soup last evening. Both are ok to me. I was expecting that the soup would give me a "wow" but yeah it was not as good as my experience having it in hongkong restaurant. I would like it to have it more sour and peppery with more crunchy stuff inside it. Fried rice has general stuff in it: egg, frozen veggies, cut-ham (it would actually better with beef i would say) and frozen prawn. Their sambal was good; it has a hint of belacan. So my rating is based on these food. I am sure other stuff are great to try.quite few people eating and take away
A "Must Go Place" for both local and travelling past this area. Good tasty Asian food, may be one of the only best kitchen beside our home. Friendly and helpful staff - nothing too difficult. Must come and try. You will come back for more.
** Remember to book in advance for dine in on Saturday **
I have been to this restaurant for 2 years and find it the most authentic Malaysian Asian restaurant. The smells that greet you when you enter reminds me of a bustling street side hawker in Malaysia. Incredibly busy at lunchtime. They greet many of the customers by their name and remembers their regular customer's order. I always do takeaway and my usual order is a Char Kway Teow, Combination Seafood Crispy Noodle, Asiana fried rice, Beef Rendang rice set, Fried wanton, Sambal Kang Kong and their famous coconut butter chicken! Asiana kitchen is a gem for local Malaysian cuisine in this side of town.
Service is prompt and good. Place is not huge and open kitchen but we are here to eat good food!
1st litmus test of a malaysian restaurant! Char Koay Teow! I'll be back for nasi lemak later!
The heat used on the flat rice noodles is very skillful. In Malaysia we call it wok hei. It is one of the most important aspects of char koay teow. The wok hei is spot on. Just enough grease on the noodles for this savoury dish with just enough chili for a spicy bump not even a kick. Easy for spice lovers. It has seafood (squid n prawns). I suspect there is pork lard used which is very common for this dish!
Good CKT!
This place is a gem for malay food, highly recommend chicken laska, makes places like paparich shameful.
Our favourite Malaysian food. Love their Char kuey teow, mee goreng, coconut butter prawn and more!
Love the food here
It is close by my house and has very nice staff
One of the best Malaysian restaurants
Highly recommend the Hainan chicken with noodle soup. Chicken is tender and juicy, while the soup is light and hearty, perfect for when the weather is cold. Staff is helpful and provides great service.
This is a good and trustworthy eatery with simple dine in and takeaqay. The Staff are very kind and friendly. You get the classic personal service on each visit. Whenever we have been tjr place is always Bustling with activity
Yummy Malaysian and Chinese cuisine is dished out.
Highpoint is the Family feel - great place to bring the family
Parking is just enough inside the compound but plenty of on street parking. Order ahead for takeaway. Good value for money.
Just got here. Place looks neat and clean. Wide menu. Hope it lives up to expectations. Will give more feedback.
The food was really good, especially the deep fried tofu!
We didn’t except it to be so busy so we didn’t make a booking but the lady was helpful and moved some tables to accommodate us.
