Ashwood Reserve reviews
14NO Public toilet, need to empty the bins more often, Signages need to be more pronounced as people are still playing golf there, and cyclists still think they Own the footpaths.
Pretty standard sports reserve, with some picnic tables for observers. Extra points for the beautiful walking trail that tracks along the side.
Nice walking track which passes the hockey fields and can take you all the way to the holmeglen reserve rugby Park. While no play equipment to be seen it is a good place to take some balls and have a kick ect.
It’s alright. Average park and trail with an oval and a decent car park. Not overly exciting but does its job well. Some improvements could be made.
A favourite with the locals. Hope the plan to make this a fenced in hockey field doesn't come to pass. Send an objection to Monash Council. HANDS OFF OUR GREEN SPACES!
Good place kids play soccer on that day grass is well maintained and have toilets facilities. But less parking available.
Their are lot of space around the ground so you can enjoy with your dog's and also enjoy with family thanks
There is a 3/4 size soccer field with standard size goal post. Can see some people jogging around.
Surprised that the pitch isn’t too bad for football, specifically training. There is no nets however it is sufficient for drills
Needs improvement
I live in The City of Manningham, the parks here are excellent.
This is just a piece of grass with metal railing around it, no personality
Ashwood reserve is good but not as good as the Holmesglen reserve. It's huge and amazing too at the same time. Plenty of space to walk run and relax. Greenery and cleanliness at its best. It has a children park and pkenty of benches to sit. A creek on one side is a icing on the cake, which refreshes the breeze. It's worth exploring if you are looking for a place to relax alone or chillax with your partner and friends.
Cheers
Large open space to kick a ball, run the dog or do cartwheels. Some water birds (looked like herons) have been sighted here.
Great little park area. Dogs are allowed off leash and there's a bike path and quite a bit of paring too.
Excellent parks and interesting walks, ducks and info on the local wildlife and fauna. Very good.
