EXTREMELY GOOD SCHOOL! I GOT A 10 ON MY ATAR SCORE AND I AM SO HAPPY I. CAN BECOME A GARBAGE CLEANER NOW! ITS MY DREAM JOB THANK YOU I LEARNED SO GOOD! I CAN NOW SCRUB GUM OFF TABLES IN THE SCHOOL. EVEN MY MUM IS THRILLED AND SHE SHOWED ME THAT BY WALKING OUT AND NEVER COMING BACK

Prinicpal is attempt to demolish a established community garden that is part of the school. To hide portable classroom from streetview, as there is other place to put them.

Not very nice message to show his students.

Great school, well spoken principal. Some students can be a little rotten but apart from that it’s a good school

All this school taught me was that once I dropped out of school my boss is going to care what colour the soles of shoes are and.
I’ve been working full time for almost 4 years and to my absolute surprise, no one has mentioned anything about them!
Best decision I made was to leave here and go to a school that cared more about what the students were learning than the haircut they had.

Good education wise but has an extreme bullying problem teachers dont offer much help except for giving the bullies a "talking to" after you do a "restorative talk" which just makes things worse.

The teachers were a menace and kids started to lick my leg hair all over, miss Vicky was potential menace to society. Id rather drag my balls against shattered glass then spend time at school. I had a experience when, a kid crawled underneath the table and started to bite my leg hair off.

Best school in the town. This is the first school of my kids in Australia and they are easily adjusted. The faculty is highly qualified and very cooperative.they put their maximum effort in grooming all aspects of a student's personality.

The new teachers in 2022 are very kind 2 in particular ed WILLIAMS and Nic MCMAHON they both are very VERY lovely human beings

I am sending my son since year 7. Amazing school with great teachers and mentors. We trust Ashwood High School. This school will do wonders in future as they have great teachers who they are giving best to kids and community, who always trust the school. If your kids are coming out from the school with great morale and respect, that's a great win for school and parents. We don't need to be on top of the chart to achieve this.

Excellenet school environment with best teachers. My kids shifted here recently, but the teacher didn't let them feel that they are new entry. They helped them to adjust in a totally different environment. Highly recommend this school.

I went to ashwood from year 7 till the end of year 8, the students are mean and can sometimes be so cruel to others. People get bullied but the teachers don’t do anything about it. My co-ordinator Vicky Dernikos was absolutely horrible and would pull me into her office almost everyday to yell at me for no reason, she made up the most ridiculous excuses just to pull me in there and yell. There was an incident that happened and they were interviewing students about it and they interviewed me. I did not take part in it at all but they suspended me and on my suspension form/ report it said that I lied during the interview then later admitted to doing what I was accused of even though that’s not true at all. I now have a suspension on my school records because of a teacher that has had something against me for such a long time and couldn’t choose to be professional or mature. Dernikos also made several threats to get me kicked out of school, I had moved houses a few months prior and whenever I did something she would just threaten to kick me out/ expel me. I do not recommend this school at all, some of the teachers lack respect, maturity and teaching skills and if I’m being frankly honest. Some of my teachers were just as clueless as us and could not teach to save their life.

AMAZING SCHOOL. Though some kids could be quite nasty, the atmosphere is decent. The principal, who tends to give long speeches, is a really nice and successful man. I recommend this school to all.

I’m a student at Ashwood High School, I entered in Year 7 this year, to be honest the school tour was AMAZING.but it was fake. When I got to go to this school this year, I knew how the teachers are always bragging about how good the school is. The kids are just nasty and they are bullies. At this school there are NO respect, for students. The teachers DONT EVEN let the students explain why they’re late or why they’re in trouble. My French teacher just said I don’t care to the person who’s in trouble when he’s trying to explain it. Also one of my teachers are SO late to class like 10 minutes and letting us wait outside the room. The students here are just super racist and swears a lot, they just bully you because of your skin colour, and where you come from. My friends was bullied, I was trying to help but instead they just freaking yelled at me. We went to the teachers, they didn’t do much about it (by the way, there was a group of people who bullied my friends.) they ONLY suspended one of the students only for one day, and didn’t even make them apologise, the teachers were even blaming on us, saying that we shouldn’t talked to them when they have stated all this. Later on one of the kids who bullied us was stepping on my foot, pushing me through, and just swearing to me, wow. But I don’t give a damn about him. Oh, and the principle is racist as well:) he never talks to the asians. I was wanting to move schools in term 3 this year but it’ll be a waste of money for the books and uniform, so we decided to move next year, in 2019. Avila Collage is where I’m moving to. It is ACTUALLY way way way better than ASHWOOD, I don’t know why it’s got the name “jewel of the east” I don’t recommend this school, the education is horrible. I recommend Avila Collage, send your girls there. I wanted to give this school 0 star. Oh by the way the canteen sucks too. E. G. ONE freaking chicken wing is $2.50 look at kfc 3 is for $3.95. Everything is just so expensive and it’s not even good. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD OR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL.
