Staff are brilliant and helpful. Did a great job servicing my mower. They advised it could take 7 days to get mower back, but got a message 3 days later ready for collection. Pricing was quite good and staff were great at explaining what was done.

After a bad experience with buying machinery elsewhere, the young guy at the counter sorted me out with what I needed and has always been patient and is fairly knowledgeable. I also bought a mower from them and it hasn’t missed a beat.
Highly recommend to the trade or the home gardener.

Community minded family business. Have trained and employed many marginalised local kids and welcomed them into the family. Very Altruistic decades Old Community business. Buy n Support local small business. (I learnt this after years of dealing with bunnings n no one knowing my name or banning my dog from store I started dealing with small timber yards (I'm a trady) they welcomed Wally my dog and got to know me and soon I was getting referrals from them. I was supporting local and they were supporting me, just like the pre corporate days. ROB N JANINE and family are a terrific small family business. Check em out.

If I didn't write this review I would be doing you a disservice. All that I can say is that the team at Ashburton Mowers listen to what needs to be done and then act. In my case I needed a chainsaw fixed for the next day because (at the last moment) the kids wanted to do the garden on their day off. I explained to Ashburton Mowers that getting the chain saw fixed quickly (like the next day) would be supper awesome for me and Ashburton Mowers delivered. Thanks.

I cut lawns for a living and am all over town, i wont stop here again sadly because i do have lawns i cut all around this area.

Best Mower Shop, Quality workmanship. They Serviced my mower and I have also bought Stihl products which are so easy to use.

Really friendly and helpful staff. I went in to see if I could buy an old mower for my son to overhaul (convinced him to start on a motor mower instead of having a heap in the driveway). The guys gave me an old Victa (busted piston) which was just what we wanted, and son now busy making a (smaller) mess. Will be going back to Ashburton Mowers for parts of course.
