I had floaters in both eyes, and over a period of a decade I discussed this with Dario at Ashburton EyeCare, and after some years of discussion on my options, Dario referred me to an ophthalmologist. The risks of the eye operations were explained, but my desire to have them corrected was greater. In 2018 my left eye was corrected followed by my right eye in 2021. Dario was my primary care giver in this process, and worked through this three year process with me, providing a strategy as to when a new set of glasses should ordered. This relationship has antecedents of at least a decade prior to the referrals for these procedures.

I found the customer service very good, the testing of my eyes was very thorough, Dario used interesting technology which he explains the results of very clearly. It taught me more about my eye health, which I liked. Ashburton has a good range of high quality contemporary eyewear, and Gregg was accommodating and genuinely helpful in assisting me to select my new glasses. My eye health is very important to me, as I have a number of things going on. I feel confident that I am being very well looked after at Ashburton Eyecare. I really like that this is a small family business, not a big company.

Over 3 sessions Dario assessed my sons eyes for learning difficulties. Always made time to answer questions and concerns and made an action plan with written report for follow up within a few days of the last session. Practice fresh and welcoming with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Could not recommend highly enough! Dario, Greg and Trudy are a highly professional and welcoming team. Efficient, knowledgeable and so caring and helpful. Everyone in my family needs glasses or contact lenses all with varying issues. Dario spends quality time with each of us and explains everything. The kids think he is fantastic and my thirteen year old has just got his first set of contacts from Dario. He is so pleased to have his eyesight restored and be able to play sports again and see well in the classroom. Thank you Dario and the awesome team you have put together there. They don't bulk bill and tried to get as much money out of me as possible. There was not a focus on what was best for me as the customer.
