Ascot Vale Cellars

Small, friendly bar serving craft beers and great wines. If you're new to the neighbourhood it's particularly great for meeting new people as both the staff and customers make you feel welcome and a part of whatever is going on. I haven't eaten a meal here but the "snacks" I've had the food has been well presented and plenty of it. There's music on the weekend and sometimes a wine or beer tasting on Thursday. I'm told there is trivia the first Monday of the month, though that is secondhand information. All up a great place to meet friends and share a beer or a glass of wine or three.

Service is good, selection of beers and wines. Prices are reasonable and the food is good classic bar food.

The bartender was a class act he sounded a lot like Mel Gibson from Braveheart, too.

I want to add I am a recovering alcoholic and I do not regret choosing this venue to end 15 years of sobriety. Thank you.

Good wine, good atmosphere
No brainier.

Best pizza in Victoria. The delicate but generous spooning of sauce provided the perfect "best supporting actor" to our toppings, which were extra cheese and thinly spiced artisan pepperoni.
A culmination of well groomed talent with all the aforementioned ingredients developed into a Grammy Award winning pie of epic proportions.

Great atmosphere and choice of different beers and wine. Also the people behind the bar are very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing customer service! I ordered a hamper which unfortunately was stolen from the common area after it was delivered. Jane responded quickly to let me know she will sort it out and hand delivered a new hamper. Thank you so much Jane.

Fantastic venue, popped down here with Bryce last night and was so impressed with the selection of beers and wine with terrific staff and a fantastic vibe/atmosphere. I live in Flemington and can't wait to come back!

Our favourite bar and bottleshop in Ascot Vale! We spent our first night out post lock down here and enjoyed the great atmosphere, delicious beers and snacky food from the restaurant next door. Throughout lockdown, this place was our saviour for trying new and interesting types of beers and getting growlers and cocktails take away. The staff are always friendly and helpful and are extremely knowledgeable about the wide range of beers and wines in the bottleshop. Dog friendly too which is a big plus.

Such a lovely place! Coming here after the lockdown felt like reuniting with the best friends or family! Super warm and welcoming staff. Please consider trying an incredible pale ale brewed in Kensington they have on tap. The taste is just mind blowing!
