Letdown by poor service. So we had young children in our group, but everyone in the group needed to take the set menu. Wished we had been told before sitting down. They did combine 2 children into 1 single set, but still the portion was too much.
It was fine that they didnt provide infant chairs, but i was shocked that they couldn't even give an extra chair for my todd. We were told that the counter seats were all fixed, but still there were other movable high chairs in the establishment.
Food flavours were good, especially the duck dishes and claypot. But the pacing in which they were served was really bad, with us needing to ask for water multiple times. 3 appetisers came all at once. Then its a long wait before ALL 4 of the main courses came together. Why couldnt the meat dishes be served before the claypot? What was worse - we waited more than half hour for our desserts, and the pavlova came badly done as part of it was a hardened amalgamation of meringue and marshmallow that challenged my knife and teeth.
Honestly, the establishment should consider if they are willing to serve families. It is obvious that they are forcing customers to accept their terms of dining, rather centred around the actual customer preference and experience. To sum up, my experience was akin to the counter seats - fixed, rigid and uncomfortable.
