ARTZ Collective Performing Arts School

Be very careful with this school.
As a method of payment you need to provide your credit card details.
My daughter was there for 4 months and she could not continue going because they put her in week day classes (impossible for her to do it). The only solution they gave me was doing the same class again (not really worth it, I must say). For that reason, she would not continue next year.
After saying that we were leaving the school next year, they charged us January, so I checked our bank account and I saw that they had charged us 7 months instead of 4: she took a free trial class the last Saturday of July, so she started in August. In December they did not have a single class so, for August, September, October and November we paid 7 payments.
I did not want to argue about what happened during the course (because of the package they offerd and so on), I was just trying to get January back because it did not have any sense, she was just not going to the school. And not because of the money itself, because that disgusting feeling of someone laughing at you.
After some emails between us, they just sent me the statement of what I had paid, no more effort in trying to understand what was happening (and verifying those 7 payments), at the end, the money never got to my account.
I tried several times to explain them the mistake, but their answer was silence.
This is the most disorganized place I have ever known (but, obviously, in their favor!), but fortunately there are a lot more dance schools and we are not in this one any more.

Excellent school for adults getting back into dancing- caters for all levels! I have joined in with the Adults Tap and am loving Ziggys classes. Great “me” time in a really warm and friendly group. Can’t wait to be able to add some more classes down the track, as they have plenty of options which can be rare to find for adult dancers.

Artz Collective is an incredible studio in Melbourne’s west. From the moment I stepped foot in there nearly 10 years ago I have felt at home. Back then I was returning to dance after a number of years off due to serious injury and I was nervous about returning to dance (particularly as an adult), but I didn’t need to be. The teachers and students welcomed me with open arms and I don’t regret taking that first, scary step all those years ago. Returning to dance from injury was difficult, and took me quite some time to get back into it, but the teachers worked with me to my then limitations and in a year, I was back training for and doing performances and finalising some teaching qualifications that I had stopped when I was injured. Nearly 10 years later and I’m still at student at the Artz Collective, at home with my Artz Family, I couldn’t imagine a better place to dance as an adult student.

An absolutely amazing school! I’ve been at this performing arts school for 13 years and in all my time I’ve been met with nothing but love, support and the friendly faces in this community.
The staff have helped me to grow as an artist and person, and have helped me to achieve all of my impossible goals
Would highly recommend for anyone interested in the arts or are just looking for a good time!

Absolutely disappointed.have paid for professional photo and have never received it. Lost a precious memory and the principal doesn't care. So unprofessional.

Miss Ziggy and all the dance teachers are amazing! They are so encouraging and helpful. The adult classes are excellent and are enjoyable to attend. I'm increasing my dance skills and doing so in a fun environment.

As an adult with no prior dance experience I was a bit worried about starting out- but I shouldn't have been! Right from the initial contact, Ms Ziggy and her team were warm and welcoming. Ms Ziggy is a fabulous, encouraging teacher- and I really look forward to class every week! Thank you Artz Collective!

After 20 years of not dancing, and my every increasing waist line, I needed to do something! And I'm glad I did! The Adult Ballet and Tap Classes at The Artz Collective are the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. Apart from the fitness, I am having so much fun with like minded adults who love to dance, have a laugh, and have moments of magic! More importantly, I've discovered my own love of dance and the way I feel when I do! You cant beat that!

Artz Collective is a remarkable school of Preformaing Arts! It's a small school, with a great community atmosphere, and every student gets a lot of attention. The teachers are excellent and the kids are all so passionate about what they want to do and Ms Ziggy (Principle) taps into every childs full protential. Children do what they love and they learn from and support each other. It's not like other commercial dance schools, Ms Ziggy knows every one of the childrens names and there is a great raport with partents and teachers. This school is five star!

My child has been a student of Artz Collective for almost 2 years, she enjoys her time at the school. The children get to experience various forms of dance, with qualified teachers who bring the best out of them. I would recommend Artz Collective as a great place to learn and have fun.
