Hello. My partner and I visited this store a few times on our weekend away. She has a wonderful collection of antiques from the art deco era even clothing…. Ina very clean and well presented store. You can’t help but fall in love with the era.

I disagree that the owner is rude. If anything she the opposite. The owner was so helpful during our visit, and when I feel in love with one of her pieces, she was extremely accommodating providing extended latby terms to pay for my items.

I cannot wait to return to pick up my item and visit this store again.

Another visit, another purchase! There's always a special something I need to take home. The staff are lovely and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite shops! A must-visit if you're in Daylesford.

We visited Artedeco on 15 February. It was an unexpected find and a treasure trove of art deco and mid century items. The lady running the store was very helpful and knowledgeable and offered the right balance between assisting and letting us browse. We left with a couple of items which will be highlights in our new home.

Edit: My review DOES NOT relate to any contractors. This woman is a scammer and I have heard from locals that she has a reputation for scamming many customers. The responses to bad reviews are extremely immature and unprofessional. It certainly says a lot about the business owner. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!

Staff were extremely rude and condescending. I purchased items advertised as “antique” and have since discovered that they are reproductions. SCAMMER ALLERT.

A few months ago I tried to purchase an antique decanter to keep my pig Dorris’ sherry in. The staff did not greet me upon entry and when I placed the item I wished to purchase on the counter I was just grunted at. Dorris has more manners than the staff of this store. Perhaps review the people you have representing your business more thoroughly. I wish I had read the reviews before entering: (as a Daylesford local I am very disappointed, this is the sort of treatment I would expect from someone in the city. I thought country people were supposed to be nice

Buyers beware 'Authentic Chanel' jewellery is fake cheap chinese copies.
All the stuff in this store is way overpriced.

and again This relates to a contractor who worked on our farm and we refused to pay as he did only 1/3 of the work. Jackson Schnoor Slashing. He uses standover tactics to try to get payment when he did less than 1/3 of the work. We have had to report him to Castlemaine Police due to threats of physical harm. I refuse to be bullied by this person by paying for work not done and suggest that people consider carefully before employing him for any work.

Lovely little store specialising in Art Deco goods ranging from furniture, to jewellery, clothing and home decor items. Not a huge range, but what’s there is beautiful.
