Art Masterclass reviews
15 Attended the DIY Mosaic Lamp Class at the stunning studio in the CBD. When you arrive you are greeted and spoiled for choice with color and inspiration.the ready made lamps are all on display along with other gorgeous handmade items.like the little bowls and plates.
I found the class informative, and generally quite relaxing. I think the seating placement was perfect! Mother and daughter sitting with another mother and daughter pair.oh boy did we laugh! You get to pack up your lamp and get clear instructions on how to finish it at home. This class was so fun, highly recommend going! I love how my first lamp turned out - very very cool.
They also have kits you can do at home which is amazing also as their YouTube videos are VERY easy to follow also. Awesome activity to go do, recommend it!
This is my first experience of making a unique lamp and I liked it. Great way to treat myself good and without having to travel great distances. I thought the course was well organized, clear and easy to follow and the instructor was very knowledgeable with excellent presentation skills. I really love my OWN lamp that I created! It was Super FUN and their Cookies and tea was nice as well highly recommend, enjoy time with friends and family. I definitely go back again soon ️️️
Absolutely amazing day creating our lamps. So we’ll organised and Damla and the rest of the staff were fantastic
Highly recommend
Did this with my 10yr old. And she (and I) loved it. It's 2.5 hours which we didn't account for so have a meal before you go. There's not much time to eat during as the process does take a while and you might have sticky fingers. The teachers were so lovely and helped at every turn. Such a fun night!
Such a fun experience. Went in with a few friends not knowing anything. After a few laughs and abit of fun in a warm comfortable environment, I came out with a lamp. Worth giving a go
We had an amazing experience making mosaic lamps! Very good customer service, and lamp accessories are good quality too.
Had a great time with a friend. Found it very relaxing and exciting to see our end products. Can be done solo or in a group. We used templates but also put our own spin on it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would do again and try a different lamp size (we choose the mini table lamp).
My daughter booked us in for the master class as a surprise for me. We had a great time! Our teacher was lovely: helpful too if my project needed a little tweak. We were served Turkish coffee and a sweet treat during the class, and we both left with a beautiful piece of Turkish glassware we had created ourselves. Would be even more fun to do with a group of friends. Highly recommend this experience.
Turkish and Middle Eastern homewares hold a special place in my heart. There’s something about the colours, textures and lighting that draws me in every time.
I passed a shop in Elizabeth Street Melbourne often and recently picked up a little piece for my home. I was so impressed with the store, the staff and the range of items I just had to share.
Art Masterclass is the world's most popular mosaic art studio and are Australia’s first workshop to teach the art of traditional Turkish mosaic lamp making. And you get to take your lamp home with you. You even have light snacks served during your class.
You can book in for a 2.5-hour class and make yourself something unique and discover traditional Turkish culture.
There are shops / classes all around Australia:
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Rockhampton, Canberra, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Launceston, Hobart, Cairns
Wollongong, Townsville, Coffs Harbour, Davenport, Canberra, Kiama, Albury, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Katoomba, Geelong
Check out their range of rugs and textiles which will take your breath away. The lamps, particularly the swan lamps are stunning and would light up any space. Mug until get one for my balcony and bring in that Middle Eastern vibe.
I have to say that I recommend because not only can you make your own piece but immerse yourself in the sensory and colourful experience.
Notes: staff are excellent, locations accessible, food places nearby for a snack during your class, kid friendly.
It was my first time making a lamp and it was so much fun! ! ! He taught me kindly and carefully, and I had the best experience.
Really amazing lamp making workshop. Very well taught and guided through each step. We were able to chat with each other and not weighed down with lengthy explanations and tricky steps to follow.
I would recommend to anyone wanting to try something crafty, and I think it would be good for a workplace team building (or end of year) activity
I had so much fun here!
Not only making Turkish mosaik lamp, I also enjoyed Turkish tea and snacks.
Thank you so much!
I experienced Turkish lamp making!
It was a lot of fun because I was able to think about everything from the colors to the design and make it myself!
I was able to make some good memories in Australia
We were here today.
Very creative workshop to be in.
Friendly and nice staff around
We enjoyed it so much.
The Turkish lamp making class is super fun! They even provide design ideas which was a pleasant surprise as it helped my end product probably look a lot better
