Art Hideaway

My 11 daughter loves the school holiday program Kate runs at Art Hideaway. She brought home another beautiful piece of art yesterday. Kate always keeps it interesting and fun.

Art Hideaway is such a beaut space where kids get to develop their skills in, and appreciation of, art. Kate’s a gem - creative, talented, supportive and encouraging - and the children love her! After the first class, my son declared as we walked out, ‘this place is better than Lego! ’ Two thumbs up.

What an amazing experience in our women’s sip and clay workshop. So professional, relaxing and we loved the pieces we created!

We had our daughter’s 7th birthday party there and couldn’t have been happier. Kate is a great teacher, she had a helper to make sure nobody was left out. The space is lushes and peaceful. Kids were really engaged.
Kate was so easy and efficient to communicate with to organise the day. She even decorated the place with my daughter’s favourite colours. All kids had a blast. I highly recommend Art Hideaway.

Kate & Isabella offered a fantastic pottery experience for our child’s 9th birthday party on the weekend. The children were totally engaged, learnt new skills and made unique pieces. Kate & Isabella were warm, caring and managed the group beautifully. And best of all, the birthday child loved it!

My son loves working with Kate. He has created some truly beautiful and remarkable pieces of art. He gets so much out of the process. Kate is a talented artist who inspires him and generously shares her knowledge. His clay projects create so much pride and sense of accomplishment and his self portraiture is so touching and authentically him. We are deeply grateful for Kate and her work.

Kate is an engaging and engaged teacher. Her approach is to encourage each student’s own creativity rather than align with preconceived ideas. I couldn’t recommend Art Hideaway more highly.

My daughter has loved Kate’s classes and I also loved the women’s water colour workshop I attended. Kate uses high quality art materials and kids are so lucky to be getting access to her fine art knowledge. I love how Kate teaches different techniques and exposes the kids to different artists from around the world.
These classes are really special and unique. I highly recommend!

We had such an amazing time having a clinic catch-up and bonding session whilst making cups for several hours. Kate was amazing at holding the space whilst educating us all. I would do this again in a heartbeat and will definitely do one of my kids birthdays with her also. Thanks again Kate.

Art Hideaway is just like the name describes. A little hide away tucked away in a natural setting in the inner North. Kate the art teacher is an inspiration for all ages, and has a very nurturing and encouraging approach. Both myself and my daughter have attended workshops at Art Hideway, which we have got a lot out of!

Art Hideaway is the perfect name for this nook of creativity! Kate is a creative, cheerful, supportive, nurturing, knowledgeable and relaxed art teacher and the kids love her! The atmosphere in the outdoor studio is almost meditative and my daughter loves her afternoons there. I would recommend Art Hideaway unreservedly!

Art Hideaway and the wonderful lady who runs it, Kate, are simply the most fun someone can have whilst learning art! My daughter started when she had just turned 7 and is now well into her 2nd year. She adores her time at Kates.
