Art Club Northcote

I attended Art Club for around 5 years and it was practically like a second home. The space overflows with creativity and ideas are limitless. Art Club introduced the little me to the world of art, past the drawing and the painting, showing history, culture and meaning. I can also say that Art Club gave me lifelong friends and that Sue is one of the most incredible people I know. Thanks to Art Club, I am currently studying photography and design and will be taking Studio Art in VCE. All I can say is that Art Club is an amazing place and everyone should go!

I attended art club for 5 years from age 10 to 15 and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had. Art club nurtured my love for art and taught me so much. The atmosphere is great and I made many friends there. All in all I can highly recommend it!

Art Club continues to ignite my daughter's love of art. After 4 years she still looks forward to it every week and is often coming home and applying what she's learnt about different artists, techniques and media. The end of year installation is always brilliant and much anticipated by family and friends alike!

I have been doing Art Club for 6 years and it has always been a highlight of my week. All the projects are amazing and even after six years Sue is still coming up with new ideas. I recently had to stop because of other committments and having to leave has left me in tears on multiple occasions. Its great fun, even if you suck at art, with great people and Sue is absolutely amazing. Would 100% reccommend to everyone!

As a parent of two children who do art weekly with Sue, I am constantly amazed by the intensity of the work all the children produce. The end of year show is always spectacular!

My son Charlie has been going to Art Club for over two years and in his word: "It's the best hour and a half of the week and I wish there were more hour and a halves like that in my week". The creative experiences Sue opens the kids up to are just incredible and inspiring. I really don't think Charlie will ever stop having his hour and a halves - EVER.

Consistently fantastic activities. I think it's the right balance between structured and open projects and Sue is a very informed and knowledgable teacher.
