Armor Antiques reviews
20Completely disgusted in this shop and the service. My 96 year old dear grandma took her dads ww2 treasures to this shop to be framed and they were withheld for 17 months! This man had every excuse under the son and spoke to my dear granny with nothing but disrespect. Cranky and chauvinistic.
Absolutely fantastic store, with a wide range of products, and you're guaranteed to find that perfect gift ir something to add to your collection. I could happily spend all day looking for something here!
WARNING. A great shop but with questionable business practices! My husband is still waiting after 6 weeks for payment of $250 worth of goods he sold to Graeme and left with him on trust that he would transfer the money which, after many reminders and polite requests, he hasn't done.
Sold to my late husband a supposedly silver WW1 nurse's badge. Cost $150 at the time, possibly 10 years ago at a militaria fair in Melbourne. Tag says 'WW1 silver nurse rising sun badge, marked sil'. Have investigated. This is not silver, there is no such marking, and it is WW2. If you are tempted to buy anything in this shop, check the Web to confirm authenticity and fair price.
This is a good place to lay your hands on military surplus clothing especially the service dresses and tunics although it is reasonably pricey depending on the item. There was a-lot of decorated assets from the west so overall, very good place if you'd wanna collect these type of stuff.
A huge amount of items, researched & clearly labelled, a must for all enthusiasts. Don't miss the private museum, some exceptional things to see worth the donation entry fee.
Horrible customer service. We’re collectors and been in here multiple times over the last year, never once was greeted until we’re willing to spend money. Up until that point we’ve been completely ignored or snapped back at with a rude or ignorant attitude. It doesn’t take much to say “hey how’s it going.anything I can help you with? ”. Will not be returning.
Great range of historical memorabilia, both to view and purchase. Worth the time to visit the museum. For s gold coin donation - a bargain.
Went here the other day. Great experience. It was great seeing the many different uniforms from Ancient Asia all the way to the Cold War and WW2
This is an absolute treasure, the gold coin entry to the museum is really not enough for what they have there. It is a must see uf you are into war memorabilia.
An extraordinary place if you are a militaria buff, both as a source of treasures and a visual fix for your obsession
Has a gold-coin-donation museum out the back covering the whole second story, some interesting samurai and WWII artifacts.
If you are in the area must excellent collection of military memorabilia and all for a gold coin donation
I am a bit bias but this is a great place to visit, teach yourself and your children more about our Diggers and the role that they played in WW1 and WW2, Military Uniforms, badges, medals, Samurai Armours, Collectables, 2 stories of amazing items from all over the world. Graeme is a wealth of knowledge and loves to share it with anyone, he loves to teach the young about our heros of the past.
Saw the folks here a year ago and felt right at home. Back again in November and yes will be visiting, buying and having my treasures shipped back to Alabama, USA. Fantastic assortment of items and super owners. Well worth a visit cause you'll love it. Hope to see ya all there.
Great place full of army related things and so many great books. If you needed and thing from the war days I'd say go here
Great place to learn about the history of both world wars, has got a great variety of books and you can purchase lots of collectables. The museum is a real hit in the store, all you need is a dollar donation which I was happy to give and enjoyed looking at history. Weapons, grenades, mortars, helmets etc are for sale. WOULD recommend a visit.
Interesting shop. Found medieval items for my collection (swords, armor, pike etc). Well worth a visit.
You have to see this place. The greatest range of militaria I have ever seen.
Literally something for everyone with a huge range of Japaneses armour and swords and large and small items from every conflict from all over the world.
The museum (there a small charge to view) has the most incredible stuff I have ever seen.
The guy who runs it is really friendly and knowledgeable. The upstairs museum was still in the making when we went, but was amazing! Some really cool stuff and he remembered us when we went back. Great range!
