THE WORST FISH AND CHIPS EVER.

I have tried this place two times now with exactly the same order, a few weeks apart.

Each time the fish was super oily, the batter on the fish was still raw and super thick, and the chips were oil soaked and undercooked. My mouth was covered in oil. I had to brush my teeth afterwards.

I dont know how you can ruin fish and chips unless you are actively trying hard to, it's literally all thrown in the deep fryer. The food had no golden color either, it all looked beige.

The customer service was not great either. No real smiles, just going with the motions.

Do yourself a favour and take a two minute drive to Lakeside Fish and Chips, where you are greeted so warmly, the food is cooked perfectly, and you will get a few fresh potato cakes with every order.

Staff from the shop were sitting on benches outside smoking. Not only is it a no smoking zone, but the woman then deliberately dropped her cigarette butt into the drain. Absolutely disgusting behaviour for a local business. Definitely not supporting a business that has that attitude.

Schnitzel burger was ace and very reasonably priced. Hot dogs in batter go just as well. 5/5

The food was very tastey the fish was big an very well werth it the chips were the best i have had anywere in a long time i would highly recoment them ill be going there more often

Seriously, closing at 8 on a Saturday night its like they dont even want a profitable business.

Always good to pop in and grab a dim dim or potato cake. Give them a visit to keep this small business going. Friendly owners etc.a pleasure to walk in and be greeted with a smile as always

Usually really good food, but my god hearing the older guy scream at the young staff is enough to make me want to go to the fish and chip joint a few minutes up the road. Absolutely shocking how he treats the young staff who are probably in their first job.

We ordered souvalaki and they came cold and l also got a bottle of lemonade which l thought was 1.25 ltr for $6.00 but it was only 600mls totally a rip off, how can they justify that price for 1x 600ml of lemonade

Worst fish and chips we’ve ever had. The chips were soggy and doughy on the inside, scallop was covered with thick thick batter, still very doughy inside and my partner had to spit it out. The grilled fish was hard and dry like cardboard. Never going back again.

Best fish and chips in the area. Great chips and potato cakes, fresh fish and fantastic prawns. Very rare to get a fish and chip shop that ticks all the boxes regardless of craving.

Without a doubt the worst fish n chips I've had, fish was dry and stale, chips soggy and unenjoyable, potato cakes no better and the burger. Old bun, thin over cooked Pattie with some limp lettuce to top it off, the most enjoyable part, not eating any more! Hopefully they will try to up their game and will review again next month!

After making a phone order, picking it up, getting it home to find it was wrong, calling them having it remade and getting it home to find a burnt burger bun and burnt burger patty these ppl seem to not care about custmer service. Do they understand repeat business is how you stay in business.disappointing

I know it's a fish and chips shop but their burger is just scrumptious. The meat patty is well seasoned and the bun is soft. Highly recommend it.

Love this place, please don't ever change

Don’t waste you’re money! $60 I’ll never get back. Was really craving fish and chips. Wouldn’t even feed it to starving kids in Africa.
Everything was burnt to a crisp, the flake tastes like it came from the supermarket frozen section and the chips I swear they have been in the microwave!
Terrible.
They also never tried to rectify when we called them.

Don't bother trying to order any of their packs - the response I got when trying to order two of them is "we don't all them any more - have this more expensive pack instead" but they didn't bother to even put tape offer their menus to show what they did and didn't sell.

Souvlaki chips and a 600ml coke for $12.50. Awesome value souvlaki and chip's were awesome definitely go back

Worst fish and chips i had in my life tonight,
Was disappointing for the over priced food.
The batter was just horribly wrong was so stale, the chips felt like they were done in a microwave not a deep frier. Hope i dont get food poisoning since food didnt taste right.
Only reason we thought to come try your fish and chips out due to Monday night 99% of fish and chip shops are closed in pakenham.
A word of advice to people stick to Pakenham fish and chips in main street where its always fresh or fish and chips shop near coles and target. Sorry guys but it was a huge let down 1 out of 10. Flake potoato cakes chips crabs stick not good.

Fish and chip lover here for 30 years, back when they were all owned by Greeks and new their stuff, so was excited when I learned this one had Greek owners and not run by Asian’s like 95% of all fish and chip shops now a days. But how quickly I was disappointed by my experience the lack of pride taken in producing good fish and chips was astonishing to say the least. All frozen poor quality flavourless straight out of the bag and in the deep fry easily the worst fish chips experience in all my time. Feel sorry for the owners producing such poor quality food highly embarrassing

Nice staff but food inedible. Batter too glutinous, oil not hot enough so everything was too oily and it all tasted funny.
