Arda Turkish Restaurant

We ordered some starters and 2 mixed grilled sets. The bread and dip were delicious, bread was crusty and the capsicum dip was packed with flavoured. Grilled tomato & chilli were good but we underestimated how spicy the chilli would be. It numbed half my face and I can actually handle spicy food. We still loved it though. The mixed grilled plate was beautiful, all the meats were perfectly cooked and each has its own distinctive flavour. The meal was delightful and we can’t wait to be back and try more dishes from their menu.

We dined here for Christmas dinner and really enjoyed it. We were a group of 11 and had the banquet-fantastic and so much food! Chilled water served on arrival, always a lovely touch.

The spinach and yoghurt dip was creamy and tangy and quite popular amongst our group. The bread was warm and plentiful. Lots of plates kept coming-all delicious, to many to mention and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the meat platter was SENSATIONAL. The shish was tender along with the lamb cutlet and kofte. All very reasonably priced and outstanding value. We could not fault it.

We had one vegan and one vegetarian amongst us who were looked after with excellent hot pots.

Serge was great to communicate with and an excellent host and received a high level of service.

We had a table upstairs with refreshing air-conditioning. The bathrooms were spotless too.

Tonight we had a work dinner with colleagues at Arda restaurant, the food was as authentic as l had in Turkey and freshly cooked for us.
The portions were generous and extremely tasty, my favorite was the iskender served hot in a claypot. From start to end marvellous. Definitely found my favourite Turkish Restaurant.

I went for dinner today with my family and was very disappointed with the food. They charge $28 for a Mixed Grill and the quantity of meat on the plate was so less that even one person will still feel hungry after eating it. The Lamb Iskender was not well cooked and it did not taste like one. The Quails were the worst I have had in Melbourne.
The owner got offended when I raised this issue with him. He said that he is in Business for the past 16 years and no one had ever complained. He was not at all apologetic to the fact that I am raising an issue with him.
I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place and being looted for something which is not Authentic Turkish.
