Arc'teryx reviews
20Thank you Thomas for your excellent service. We went to the store in the city and Moorrabin, and finally found that we should go here directly. It is recommended to call first and ask.
Special shout out to Raphael, Ollie and Ni.not sure what suits me.but they are very patience with me and get what I need in the end. Happy day with new jacket. Will go back visit them again and recommend more friends!
Really pleasant experience with the staff called Olive, super kind and helpful, got the piece I want
Came in to the store on 5/12 mid day with 5 staff on floor. 10 minutes in absolutely no acknowledgement of my existence and I had to give eye contact to the female staff to really let them know that I need help with sizing. Made eye contact and she looked down and continued to talk to her fellow colleagues behind the till. Shocking attitude towards customers honestly. We tried on three jackets and to be honest by the end I was fed up with “trying” to receive any customer service. I walked across to north face and the team were so lovely. Honestly in this day and age please do better. It feels so aweful walking into an empty store with more staff than customers and made to feel less then worthy.
The best ever Arc’teryx we have been to!
We came for buying gift for mom and dad. Because Dad was taller and fatter, we worried about buying the wrong size. Thomas has been giving us advice and even put on the jacket we chose and made a fake belly to imitate the fat dad! He was so cute and the jacket size was amazing fit! Very appropriate! We took a long time to make decisions and he has been very patient and gives professional advice! Also get two bagsunexpected surprise!
Seriously the worst shopping experience I have ever had. No attention from the staff at all and they do not have enough product knowledge.
There are five staffs there when we shopping and they all at the counter talking about buying another brand shoes.
The young lady who we asked for help did tried she must of been new, though we had to prompt her she did try to get assistance from her own coworkers. With little avail.
We were in the market for a new shell … Marmot make the same quality jackets and can be purchased online. This product quality is not heads above the market and without exceptional service in store fitting and communicating product benefits why we buy?
Good luck long term if you do not prioritise the customer.
Again the lady we prompted tried but with out support of “experienced” staff it was unfortunately not what we needed to understand why we buy here.
What makes me laugh the most is that the sign said looking for experienced staff on the door 5 staff no service? Maybe the staff number isn’t the issue it’s the management? Lucky there is no 0 stars lol
Really really really bad shopping experience.
Arcteryx Chadstone customer service was less than satisfactory
The staff seemed more interested in their phones rather than assisting customers and after asking about recommendation on equipment the member of staff pointed at the section then provided no more assistance
I've visited this Arcteryx store on three occasions now, including tonight at around 8 pm. Despite there being at least three staff members present, no one attempted to attend to me or offer any assistance. I even mentioned my difficulty in finding a size small in front of the fitting room, which was right next to the counter where these staff members were standing, but still no one offered to help.
As a customer, I expect a more friendly and proactive level of service from Arcteryx, otherwise why don't we all just shop online? Why do we need three staff?
Friendly staff. No help in regard to product availability and no offer to order in. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted/needed, i.e. I was prepared to pay for their best gloves. Not a technical equipment label anymore. A fashion label now.
Excellent service, professional salesman. The excellent quality of Arc'teryx is worth the price. I have been using this brand for more than 10 years. Awesome products for serious outdoor activities
Professional outdoor clothes, all friendly staffs and satisfying shopping experience. Absolutely would shopping again here.
Very friendly staff, helped me out with an ALPHA SV purchase! Would love to shop here again!
Down jacket I bought is pilling a lot, making a mess if you wear it as a middle layer. Store refused to replace.
Good products but needs attention on staff training. I would give a 0 star if I have the option.
I went there on Saturday night 8: 25pm. I saw an Asian looking male staff is operating the computer at the counter. I tried to talk to him, but unfortunately the gate has been shut two third of way. I have to squat down and politely ask if I can exchange my item for another size real quick. The staff refuse to open the gate and stay behind the counter with a “don’t give a damn” face. I didn’t try to be a mean guy, I decided stand up and come back another day. After 10 seconds, the staff came out the counter and shut the gate completely. At this point, my phone says it’s 8: 27pm. If you not planning to open until 9: 00pm as you stated, don’t open. Thanks for wasting my time with poor customer service and attitude.
I have been following Arc’teryx since 2013 and when they opened the Chadstone flagship store, I got really excited. I went there with a bunch of questions about their new products and the staff were extremely patient and friendly in answering all my queries. It was a tailored experience and I’m amazed how they were able to recommend me the right products for the right activities:) the attention to detail, friendliness and just upright passion from the chadstone store team has really left a good impression on me! I was served by Leo, and he was super knowledgeable and friendly while serving me. While other brands would just offer fast fashion, quick in and out - Arc’teryx is different. It is tailored to you, to your activities, and to your needs:) 100% recommend approaching the store and the staff team for all your outdoor needs!
Visited the Southland store looking for a pair of waterproof pants.
The two customer service people were busy talking to each other for ages. One male one female.
Once I got the attention of the male staff member and said I’d like a pair of water proof pants, his curt and abrupt response was “ we only have XL” and walked off.
How about, “ let me see if our other stores have any stock, OR let me look and see if we have any stock online “
Pretty appalling that basic customer service failed.
Two male staff worked there on Friday have ZERO work ethics. If none wants to help customers, you can always quit the job.
The staff here have excellent product awareness and empathy for their clients:) To me, what differentiates Arc’teryx from its competition is the attention to detail and technical nuances that just make it a better product. The slight angle on a pocket, high density fabric on high-wear zones, the considered friction of pulling a zipper – Arc’teryx products are an articulation of fabrics which cater specific needs and functions. Leo and his team were able to break down really complex technical aspects of their products into simple terms that my partner and I could easily understand. We ski and hike a lot, and the staff were so kind enough to explain fully and let us test out and try-on the different products (jackets and pants) for our needs. We ended up getting the Beta Ar Jacket and the Beta pants and we couldn't have been more happier with them! We're eyeing on the Agrium hoody next:) Excellent customer service as they were very accommodating to our needs, and its always service with a smile! We look forward to visiting back again real soon!
Was looking for a good winter jacket and the staff here helped helped heaps! Thomas served me and knew more about the jackets than I even thought you could know and helped me find one that suited exactly what I was after, will definitely go back!
Well I experienced the same problem TWICE: Are you going to buy or not? I did not give a review the first time when I visited the store last winter. Just thought it was not worth my time.
Today 9 April 22 I visited the store and encountered the same old lady again. Almost ruined my Saturday with the most pushy and impolite sale tactics that one could imagine.
Still cannot beat Patagonia in terms of sale and after-sale services.
