NEVER AGAIN, Do not recommend.
My sister after coming here a few times had spoken very highly about this place and I was definitely looking forward to trying this place out, being 8 months pregnant coming for some live music on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I thought walking in lovely vibe and views I get to the the bar there was 3 people man (owner) girl and another boy, owner said he will be with me in a second, then left girl just looked at me and ignored then the boy had served me, I asked if he could bring the 3 drinks to the table he said he will have it ready for me at the bar then I repeated my self and showed him which table outside fast forward to paying I said I will order some food and come around to another register at the front I ordered 3 drinks and nachos he then said I’ll have your drinks ready at the bar, okay I’m not sure how he expected me to carry the drinks being heavily pregnant, this was at 4: 30pm, my brother was behind me in line next to order this was at 4: 32pm and he was told he can’t order any food for himself my sister or me because the kitchen closed at 4: 30pm and the server was unaware about the closing times, we did want wedges and pizza understood they couldn’t make the pizza but they still made my nachos and they could of brought the wedges out at the same time. Upon receiving the food (nachos) and drinks my sister and brother missed out even though they were next in line, we did ask for some sharing plates they guy looked at us and was umming and arring then said okay he will bring plates, we did decide to talk to the owner about the service but he literally couldn’t care less as he said his staff has been there cooking since 5: 30am, and the boy was training and wasn’t aware of the closing times. When we were about to leave a lady comes out and gives us some cupcakes and said oh I feel so bad use didn’t get to eat we thought what a lovely gesture till we got home only to find out they were getting rid of old stale cupcakes. Never again do not recommend.

I have just been to Arcobar for breakfast 4 people, food was cold eggs over cooked, this few was shared by the 4 people. $126. I will not go there again.

Had a birthday dinner last Tuesday with a family group of 10 and was thouroghly impressed by all the meals, the wonderful settlng, reasonable prices and very friendly and attentive service of all.
Definitely will be back

I had a very enjoyable afternoon listening to a beautiful lady singing. I remember her name Rachel, a great talent, and not to forget the best bowl of chips

Good that there is outdoor seating and good on warmer days. Coffee is okay. Pram and wheel chair accessible. Service is just okay

Great service. Good coffee. Ordered adult pancakes. 2 COLD baby pancakes arrived, no larger than 4cm diameter! All other food great but something went wrong with pancakes! And then the price. $19! NOOOO!
I did ask the staff, I spoke to the manager. She told me that was the adult serve! When I called her back to show her they were fridge cold she told me she couldn't touch my food. I apologised and sent back to the kitchen. I wasn't charged but that's not he point! I did try to resolve this issue on the day, very politely as I've had nothing but great service and good food from arcobar but this was just next level bad!

Great location/set up but my schnitzel was quite bland and overpriced. Looked good though.

We love coming here, and we do so often. We can bring our greyhound and she loves the pats from everyone. Great food and great atmosphere. Friendly owner and staff.

Food was excellent, large servings and piping hot, the restaurant was very busy because it was a public holiday however the service was very efficient and staff very friendly. First time there and won’t be the last. Great live music outside with people on picnic rugs. A really nice atmosphere, a gem!

Such a great experience, amazing service and delicious food! I was travelling for work and returned the 2nd night too - that's how much I enjoyed it.

The staff are friendly, the food is very good and the quality of live music is incredible. I've been a few times and thoroughly enjoyed each show. I've already bought tickets for next time. Keep up the good work Arcobar

Ordered the Butter Chicken but I struggled to find a few little pieces of chicken. The bowl was filled with inedible carrots. I thought that when I mentioned it to the waitress I might have been offered a replacement meal but I left hungry and dissatisfied

After waiting for over 20 minutes for our breakfast and coffee to arrive, we asked where it was. The waiter went away to check and came back and said that our order had not actually been placed in their system. No apology or compensation so we decided to leave. To make matters worse, when we complained to one of the part owners (Franz), he became very aggressive and abusive. What a way to treat customers. Never ever going back.

Honestly pretty “meh”. Came here for Mum’s birthday, three groups and we ordered first, but everyone else was done by the time our food came out. One of the chips was still frozen, and probably came off another plate. Cheesy pizza’s for the kids apparently weren’t very cheesy and spinach fettuccini had overcooked pasta and a generally messy feel. Good beer on tap.

If you’re going to cater to a large amount of people don’t complain about being too busy. Maybe reduce the people you cater for.

I guess I'll reduce to one star, because the owner's response is the icing on the cake. If you can't take the bad online reviews with the good, then you probably shouldn't have any online presence. Also, now that I remember it, the toilets were in quite a state, water all over the floor and only one square of toilet paper left and no refills to be seen anywhere.

The food is delicious and is definitely worth going to again. But the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the long wait time to have your food served, one time they even forgot my order and I waited 40 minutes.

Lovely set up, absolutely awesome food! A definite gem of an eatery within a business hub. The food was excellent. I had the Salt n Pepper Squid which was perfect. The squid was wonderfully tender and served with hot chips and a fresh vinaigrette salad. My friends ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Malay Butter Chicken, both of which were also very delicious. Portions were great too! Service friendly and a lovely outside sitting option. We will be back!

Very good place to go after the karkarook park run. Great breakfast and plenty of outside shaded seating.

I really like this place but beware if you buy a soy decaf latte. I understand that Arco needs to charge extra for these more expensive components, but $5 for a regular latte and $7 for a soy decaf someone hasn’t done their maths correctly. That regular $5 latte needs the regular milk and regular coffee component subtracted before adding the soy and the decaf. $2 on top of the regular $5 is outrageous!

PS it’s worth them remembering that the person that needs to have soy and decaf will take their regular coffee drinking friends with them

Offer good takeaway for good prices and if like to eat there, on a sunny day sitting outside and looking the lake perfect
