Food and service was fabulous. Every dish presented creatively and the flavours were out of this world. $60 set menu a bargain for the experience we had. Even got a bonus dessert as it was for a birthday celebration.

There is a lot going on behind the unassuming shopfront. The restaurant only offers a degustation menu, which is sold as "3 course", but in fact is 9 (mostly small) courses. All dishes were really good in terms of flavour, balance and consistency. The price of just $60 pp most likely makes this the best value meal in Melbourne. There's also a good selection of wines for reasonable prices.

Amazing experience. $60 per head for degustation, top quality. Will be going again for sure.

Booked the day before not knowing what to expect. What a great meal. The set menu was so well done, and such great value. Not a single dish was less than good, and most were excellent. We will definitely go again. I'd recommend getting in soon before you have to wait weeks (or longer) for a booking.

Never judge a book by its cover.simply impressive; the menu, 6 entrées, 1 main and 4 desserts.medley of flavours, new and clever.never knew that I would enjoy a beetroot juice, presentation, and cooking technique.and all that for $60.00 set menu.

Bang for your buck.all about the food. I must say they've chosen well, great extensive wine list; French & Australian wines.

Marble round tables and lazy Susan are still a cool to enjoy dining out with friends.

Thank you to Chef Sathya Ramalingam and Aminah, the NKOTB of North Melbourne.

We are coming back in December for the new menu.

Tldr - top notch modern European cuisine in an easy to get to location. Set menu with a chef’s selection of entrées and desserts served either side of a choice of one of two mains.

Food was of the highest quality and served creatively and yet in a non-fussy way. Wine list was superb.

I’m confident that you will leave satisfied, your mind and senses blown by the quality and sheer quantity of flavours and combinations you have just experienced.
Possibly a little too much food for some. Definitely worth going here with an appetite.

Atmosphere was good but since they are still establishing themselves it wasn’t buzzing. Music playlist could do with some loving to help build the ambience.

Cute little restaurant with limited seating and a set menu. Great value for money, friendly staff.

My wife and I tried their degustation menu and we found it to be excellent. The serving of each course was spaced out nicely allowing for us to slowly enjoy the food, flavours and atmosphere. Highlight would be the seafood and meat courses, pleasant burst of flavours. The beef was velvety soft and juicy. Serving was impeccable. Will visit again!

New concept restaurant. Love everything about the experience from the ambience to the devine food offerings. Well done Sathya.

Had high expectations but we were extremely disappointed.
Unfortunately the food did not measure up, the beef was dry and over cooked.
Unfortunately will not be returning.

It's early days so we weren't surprised by the few hiccups in the experience. Wait staff were delightful and the dining room has a quiet cosy atmosphere. The menu is a five dish set offering. It's creative but was let down by the uneven timing of each item and the very overcooked beef dish. I'm sure it will find its mojo fairly quickly and become as good as its sibling Bistro de Paris over the road. People with mobility issues will be fine here as it is all on one level.
