Arbormaster reviews
21 I’ve bought a Husqvarna chainsaw and leaf blower as well as a pair of chaps. I’ve also had the leaf blower repaired due to my mistake. Every time they have been professional and friendly. Prices are very reasonable too.
Today they helped me fix my chainsaw when I had tried to take it apart with the brake on.
You can’t go wrong dropping in to see these guys.
Bought a 30 ton log splitter for a *great* price - assembled, filled and ready to use. The staff loaded it onto my trailer, and Mike demonstrated how to start and operate it. Much appreciated.
Fast and friendly service for over the phone purchase of a lovely pro-grade chainsaw. Thank you. Good old fashioned and honest service still exists.
The guys at the store are great. I often call up to check if the gear I want is in as its a long way up from mornington. They are very knowledgeable and the gear is top notch.
$28 to ship a small book! Forget you people. It's this sort of robbery that then loses customers for life.
Brad is a king. A well of wisdom and experience.will guide you in the right direction. Thanks Brad!
Went to Arbormaster Bayswater to buy a new Husqvarna chainsaw for my farm use, the service I received by Mike was excellent. He spend time to explain the specific chainsaw operation and accessories that I needed to get started. Very happy with the product and friendly service I received, definitely will come back in the future to buy other farm power tools.
Great sales experience last year and Excellent service / maintenance with local pick up and drop off of Shredder. Thanks Lachy much appreciated. Recommended!)
I do not recomend
I got screwed around with an order for months had to keep calling to get anything done they sent a rope half as long as I ordered than took months to sort it out the ended up sending me a climb line to cover the difference I kept the 18mm rigging rope half as long bottle extra to say sorry for being screwed around for so long I had to make do on a lot if job sites costed me money if I had been offered a little extra for the stuff around I would have been ok with that
Fantastic range of products and very knowledgeable - also they do not try and sell you stuff you really don’t need, which is pretty rare these days! Keep up the good work
My go to place when I need anything arb related, from picking apart my rusted out "antique" saws to providing expert advice on the latest harnesses and rigging tools. Its my one stop shop for spending all my money. Brad is an exceptional customer service representative and if I didn't also own that "other" brand. I'd only ever come here
The owner has decades of Arborist experience under his belt and will provide great advice whenever needed.
Absolutely brilliant online service, they had everything I needed, all in stock, and the website is easy to search through. Same day dispatch of goods and the courier was very swift at getting package out to a country location. Everything was packaged up nicely and with care. Keep up the good work:)

Great range and reasonable prices on climbing gear compared to other suppliers in melbourne. As always brad was very helpful and knows his stuff back to front, so if your in need of some tree stuff he is the man to speak to
Very helpful staff who know the quality products they sell and can give great advice accordingly. I'll be back.
In these days of on-line shopping and YouTube videos, it is fantastic to have a well stocked store where you can see, touch and feel the products. My dealings with Arbormaster have all been a pleasure and the equipment purchased has improved my ability to work productively, safely and due the the energy saved by their climbing equipment, much more enjoyable.
Have also found on-line purchases to be shipped and delivered very promptly.
I recommend this store frequently.
Arbormaster provide the best range, quickest service and best customer support, they are my number 1 go to retailer for all my arborist gear.
My recent experience with Arbormaster/ The RedShed Bayswater Vic shows that for an organisation that is supposedly an approved Husqvarna Dealer which offers service and repairs - the Technicians at Arbormaster/ The RedShed are incompetent and are NOT fit to be conducting service and repair of Husqvarna products.
In Sep 2018 l was left extremely disappointed following service and repair of a Husqvarna WB48SE self-propelled lawn mower at Arbormaster (aka The RedShed) in Bayswater Vic.
Upon arriving home and unloading the mower l observed the following issues:
a) On the drive cable there is a joiner in the casing halfway along the cable to adjust the cable. The cable casing was in two pieces and the joiner undone on one side due it not being possible to tension the cable. The drive cable fitted was too long, hence it could not be tensioned correctly.b) When the drive engage/ disengage control lever was moved to the engage position, the lever would not lock in place.c) When the orange control bar (aka kill switch) is pulled to the on position, the control bar now grabs and the brake cable now appears to grab/ rub where it exits the throttle lever.d) Mower blade not sharpened (as per previous service).
Further investigation showed the original drive engage/ disengage control lever unit had been broken trying to separate the cover incorrectly in order to remove the drive cable. The new drive engage/ disengage control lever unit that had been fitted was not compatible with the orange control bar (aka kill switch). When the control bar is in the running position and the drive engage/ disengage control lever unit was moved to engage it would not lock due the internal diameter of the control lever being smaller than the original, meaning it had no hope of catching and locking.
If Arbormaster/ The RedShed had tested the self-propelled mechanism these faults would have been clearly visible to the tester.
