Ararat Noodle Bar reviews
20The portion was good but they just fill the dishes with vegetables to bulk it up, I do feel that all the dishes are nearly the same but with a tinge of a different flavour. The lady out the front is helpful and nice with clear communication, lay out of the shop was good abit a lot and not much decoration. The food tasted okay but I do feel that there isn’t much individualism between each dish. It was $45 for my husband and I to have a dish each and a drink each. This would be okay if the food had a little more meat in it.
Decent service, but was disappointed with the food. I’d ordered the seafood mee goreng and nasi goreng and ended up with 2 prawns between both dishes. The only flavor in the nasi goreng was salt. We also ordered honey chicken and got battered chicken with watered down honey essence in a small container on the side. It literally made me laugh out loud in self-deprecation.
Absolutely AMAZING! Food was delicious, the pricing is so well priced and affordable! Put a smile on our faces, CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!
Food was delicious, and came out quick, also really good pricing. Service is a 10/10 Thankyou
Great food after long day. Despite takeaway shop accommodate us to dine in. Great. Thanks agin
Love how they make the food in front ofbyou, you can see all of the excellent ingredients get expertly mixed together. Everyone is always smiling and the food tastes amazing!
Gave us Pork spring rolls, when we ordered for Veggie Spring Rolls.
Went back to complain and it was replaced.
Satay chicken noodles were over boiled and the whole thing was sticky.not fit to eat and had to throw the whole meal.
Overall, not an ideal place to eat.
We stopped by this town on the way back to Melbourne. And we chose this place to have lunch. It is definitely beyond my expectation!
First, the service is really good. The female staff (who looks teenage age) is very hardworking and helpful.
The food itself is pretty decent as well. The portion is so much that we can’t even finish it (even when we were super hungry!) We ordered spring roll and it even came with lettuce and sauce! It’s definitely great great experience.
Lastly it’s touching to see the local community who visited this place. I saw policemen came for lunch, friends sat here for food and long chat, family took there children here.it’s just so sweet.
If you are a traveler came to this town for food, give this place a try!
Food is quick to come after ordering and tastes very good aswell. No real atmosphere as such but what do you expect from a basic noodle shop? ! Great place to go for a quick feed especially since every other food place in the town is closed on a Sunday ️
In short: delicious, healthy, cheap
Freshly cooked, fresh vegetables.
Only sushi in town.
I've been coming to this family owned noodle shop for as long as I can remember.
This place is a great part of the community!
I have never gotten a dish here and been disappointed.
Everything on the menu is exactly what you get and executed perfectly!
And I've probably tried everything on the menu now.
I Have tried other noodle shops and this place is definitely one of the best!
Cheap and very delicious. Strongly recommend especially fried keow tiao and hokien noodle. And the boss was so friendly.
Delicious laksa. Just what I needed on a cold day. Staff also very friendly. Premises is nice and clean. Thankyou!
Food was good, especially the Nasi Goreng. There were lots of vegetarian options when asked, but they are not shown on the menu. Quick friendly service.
Really nice lunch stop, great servings (wonton soup - home made wontons, and fried rice). Would happily drop in again.
I don’t live in Ararat but frequently visit. Every time I have bought a meal there is excellent. Love it and totally recommend their product.
I had the Mee Goreng Seafood while my partner had the Combination Supreme. Mine was right on the turmeric, everything else was alright though. Thanks for the lunch.
As much I wanted to like this Asian food restaurant it was quite difficult as they definitely know how to make authentic Asian cuisine but have chosen to Westernise their dishes with an absurd amount of sweetness using sugar and syrups as well as ‘enhance’ flavours to the full with curry powder overloads.
I understand the need to cater to local community tastes but this is just way too much. Advice to the current management.please go genuine and authentic as I know you have it in you. Thank you
My go to for noodles! Special fried rice and combination noodles with oyster sauce are my faves. Friendly local family owned and run business
The place is run by a Vietnamese family, and therefore the food style is homemade mixture. Overall the food is great and easy to eat. The owner family are very nice and happy, so give them a smile when you head over. I'd recommend stir-fry food here.
