Ararat Central Motel

Last minute stay with kids and car troubles. The room was perfect, clean and tidy with the queen bed and trundle making it comfortable for us all. I will definitely recommend the stay well worth it and bang for buck.

Room was not clean. Carpet Dirty. Mould inside door of fridge. Spider web in bathroom. Lighting in bathroom useless, could not see in mirror. Whole precinct appeared poorly maintained and in need of paint. Would not return there. Very disappointing.

Not very clean very out dated old carpet draws shower wasn’t clean rusty shower rails mould on the roof in bed room.

The Ararat Central Motel located at 249 Barkly Street, Ararat.
This motel is within walking distance to the Ararat RSL where we attended a family 80th birthday celebration.

This motel is what I class as a budget establishment, there is ongoing renovations being carried to ensure customers continue to enjoy a comfortable stay.

I was more than happy with the price of our accommodation.
Free WiFi is available, there is tea, coffee & milk supplied for each room.

I found Cindy who is one of the staff does a more than capable job of ensuring that everyone's stay is comfortable.

I found during my previous stays & this visit that most rooms were taken.

The Ararat Central Motel is also a comfortable stroll to most other shopping attractions in Ararat. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this motel & Ararat in general.

Big comfortable rooms with everything you could need.
Located very close to plenty of restaurants and other shops in the centre of Ararat.

Not the newest "style" of rooms but great value for money.

The shaded area near the pool was great to relax with a drink and the pool is a great way to cool down.

FAMILIES DO NOT GO HERE! If you are single and looking for a budget accommodation then you can go here. Do not go with your families as the rooms are very poor. They don't even have water; the blankets are dusty and the air cons make the worst noise ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, comfortable, roomy and definitely a five star price. Fantastic location in the centre of town. Lovely hosts that go above and beyond. Highly recommend for the budget conscious.

Some rooms semi upgraded.

Great motel to stay over, owners were great and very friendly. Only minor things preventing a 5star was. (1) extra pillows from cupboard were dirty. (2) cutlery selection should've had at least one sharp knife at least, butter knives too blunt to cut anything.

Passed through ararat for contracting would not recommend staying here if your on shift work and needing rest very loud traffic noise and guest didn't consider others neither did the cleaners early hours of the morning, bathroom wasn't clean at all,

Stay for a few nights right close to walk to town ALDI Clos etc
Owners were great opposite the great fish an chip shop

Very disappointed with the front desk reception lady "Cindy" who greeted us with poor manners.i tried explaining to her about our booking which was done over the phone with a gentleman, she insisted that what was said between him and i that "he would never had said that" even though i had written things down. Five minutes into our arrival she abruptly told us that "If we were not happy with the booking that we should leave" there were 3 rooms booked. Her attitude was terrible and should not be running a business dealing with the public that way.the rooms were nothing great. Unlike some of the website photos.not clean enough, poor lighting in bathrooms, heating not working in my "DELUXE ROOM" it was 5 degrees at night, last weekend.would not recommend this place. Thank god it was only 1 night!

We payed an extra $20.00 for a room that was supposedly renovated (110.00). The old split system needs to be replaced not only was it noisy it took ages to heat up and then barely took the chill off the room. We had it set at 28 degrees. However the greeting on arrival was lovely
