Araminta's Tea Room reviews
66Popped in for a take away egg and bacon roll and coffee’s. Service was 10/10, we were served by such a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. Yummy food and coffee
A very unique and authentic feeling inside. So happy with our experience here! In Seymour for the weekend and I’m so glad we pulled over to come in when driving past.
Egg & bacon sandwich slapped, along with the coffees. The workers were extremely nice too.
I loved the gallery on the walls too. As well as the options to sit/eat on the couches or high tables or regular tables.
You have my 5/5 stars!
Will be recommending wherever I can.
We're on our way back to Wagga Wagga from Melbourne. Andrew missed the exit to the service centre so I stopped in Seymour for fuel. I want to recommend this coffee shop around from the service station. Araminta's Tea Room serves great coffee & homemade cakes. I had a scone with homemade jam. So many small & thoughtful things for visitor. We were quite taken with the lounge area with toys set out for small children. All within a nicely renovated heritage building.
Every time I come to Seymour I stop at this cafe for breakfast or lunch. Service is fantastic and the food is really good. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and drink. House made pies are great. Berry cheesecake was spectacular. Lovely decor. Real cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.or even if you are not
Lovely, affordable home cooked breakfasts. Friendly staff and a quiet space. We come here for a more intimate, chilled out (relaxed) breakfast. They also have incredible homemade jams and sauces. ️
Slow service. Don’t stop here if you want a quick break. More empty tables than full ones and two eggs Benedict took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. Disappointing as we wanted a decent brunch but not at the cost of adding so much time onto our trip. Only redeeming feature? Food was fabulous.
High quality food & friendly service at this cafe. The veggie burger with Beetroot relish was delious. Cafe was clean & has good quality seating. Highly recommended.
Kay and Helga were very friendly and welcoming. Delicious scones and good quality leaf tea - met the English man's high expectations.

Delicious Devonshire Tea with amazing house made scones with rhubarb jam - so soft you don’t need a knife to cut them. Lovely hot breakfast and very friendly service from all the ladies. Homely setting on a pretty street. Would definitely recommend.
We received our Iced Coffee's an hour before the meal.which was only burgers. Not many people in there, so don't know what the extra long hold up was. Burgers were mediocre, chicken over cooked in old oil, chips half cold, beef was very overcooked on one side, chicken salt was tasteless on chips. Salad wise the lettuce needed to be selected a lot better, very simple to do. We have been here a few times before, but, sorry not again. Price wise. $80 for burgers and drinks. Really? !
Very quiet tea rooms. Large room on 2 levels with 2 or 3 couches.
Pleasant time while waiting for car service
Just what we were looking for for a quick pit stop lunch break! Staff were lovely, sammies were fresh and delish, and the cookies…. Omg gotta be one of the best choc chips cookies I’ve EVER had. Not a fancy place but a great place never the less!
Delicious coffee and a super duper space for the littles with a play kitchen and other goodies!
We dropped in today late in the lunch bracket and the staff were clearly under the pump.
Everyone was friendly and working through the orders.
When you are number seven in the order queue in an already packed cafe you know you have a wait.
The pavement seating was pleasantly shady on a warm day and we had a cool beer and a great smoothy while we waited.
After a while chef came out to apologise about our delay and offer totally unnecessary freebies.
The calamari & salad was lovely and the chicken schnitz burger was the best I've had for years.
For a business that has just reopened after being flooded out it was wonderful.
Highly recommend.
Morning tea this week- amazing fresh (home made) scones and berry jam …. With cream of course! Fantastic prompt service, top venue, lovely paintings to peruse and coffee / tea
We enjoyed our visit to Aramintas for lunch. The staff were friendly and professional. Parking was not a problem. The quality of the food was good. Coffee was excellent. Prices were competitive. The venue seemed popular with travellers who did not want to hassle of parking in the main street.
Amazing value and portion size with a outdoor area your pets can play in too. Lovely freindly staff mother and daughter team. Well worth a 5 minute detour off the fwy and heaps better food that the Roadhouse on fwy.
After lunch we decided to go for coffee and cake and having been here before dropped in to sit on the comfortable couches in the elevated area of the cafe and the four of us chatted and enjoyed our beverages leisurely for ages before we decided to leave and head back to Melbourne and Merchison. It was not our first visit to this plàce and we will return here again when traveling this way in the future.
