My partner and I recently stayed at Araluen Boutique Accommodation on the coldest May weekend in Melbourne in 23 years and we could not have been more cosy! Rachel and Neil have created the most divine accommodation option in the Yarra Valley – the hilltop villa which we stayed in was beautiful and our only regret was not staying longer. The villa was well equipped for our short stay with plentiful supplies for breakfast and as many guests have mentioned a very comfortable bed and huge spa. Even the smallest details down to the diffusers have been well thought out. I cannot recommend Araluen more highly and cannot wait to visit again.

If I could give more stars I would - our whole experience was incredible. We hired the whole place, including the house and villas for a long weekend for our sons wedding. It was perfect. We my family, and grandparents stay, as well as the groomsmen the night before the wedding and there was space for all. It was separate enough for the guys to have their own space, as well as a space for the mother of the groom, grandmas & aunties get ready in another space. It was a beautiful place inside and out for the 'getting ready' photos. All the rooms & Villas were amazing and the attention to detail from the owners was not missed. The generous breakfasts in the rooms, the use of the main kitchen, dining room and sitting room made our son's wedding weekend even more magical. Rachel was a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer any questions we had. She definitely went above and beyond. I would recommend this place for so wedding weekends for Brides and Grooms - but also for a getaway. The Villas are beautiful. Thank you for the use of your property - we all loved it and it helped make our event even more memorable.

What a fantastic place, hosted by lovely friendly owners! Stayed in the Hillside villa for 3 beautiful nights. What a great escape. I loveeed the bifold doors being able to open the entire front up and just listen to the birds sing and feel the breeze. Such a homey cosy place in a very central location for everything you need from day hikes to wineries etc. Absouelty highly reccomend. It's also worth noting how well fitted out the villa is. It's great to see a place that provides a large smart TV to watch in the evening. Little things like the Bluetooth speaker were a nice touch, once again a really good quality item. It feels as of nothing has been done cheaply. Heated floors in the bathroom deff an added extra! Can't wait to get back. Thankyou both so much.

Very nicely presented rooms and very clean. Great pool area with ammenities like pod coffee and tea all provided in the communal kitchen. Very welcoming and helpful owner too. Perfect place to stay for a couple on holiday.

My friend and I had the most perfect weekend stay. The place was really beautiful and relaxing, plus it was so close to the many wineries we visited. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We booked the Hillside Villa for two nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and could not have made a better choice for such a special occasion! Set in a stunning tranquil setting, the villa was beautiful with all the amenities and special little touches that made for an unforgettable experience. The cosy villa has everything - super comfortable bed & pillows, modern bathroom with generous sized spa bath & walk in shower (plus heated floors & towel rails), gas log fireplace (so cosy on a cold night) or air conditioning for warmer weather, Large smart TV, Bluetooth speaker to play your own music & comfy lounge, dining table for 2, kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge & Nespresso coffee maker (plus all cutlery/utensils you need - including continental breakfast supplies). Walk onto the front deck and you overlook the billabong with recliner chairs to lay back, relax and take it all in. The weather was magnificent, and we thoroughly enjoyed this outdoor area to chill out, enjoy a glass of wine and cook our dinner on the hooded BBQ on the deck. There's a walking track directly opposite that follows the road and makes for a beautiful morning stroll, The location is only a short 5-10 min drive to the township of Yarra Glen and similar to numerous wineries so you really don't have to venture far to experience all that the Yarra Valley has to offer once you settle into this little hidden gem. The communication with the hosts (Rachel & Neil) was excellent and they really do take care of every little touch to make it a special place to stay. We took advantage of the offer to book 2 x 90min relaxation massages (at additional cost) which Rachel arranged for the day we arrived and that was simply the perfect way to unwind and start our stay. We could not rate or recommend this place more highly and know you will not be disappointed! Thank you to our hosts Rachel & Neil, we loved our stay and will be coming back and referring you to family and friends which is the best compliment we could ever give!

What a remarkable place! Araluen is truely beautiful, relaxing and peaceful.
We stayed here for our wedding and WOW! It exceeded all our expectations. Rachel was an amazing host making us feel comfortable and stress free on our special day.

Best accommodation decision we could have made and I am so glad we locked it in early! Rachel and family were nothing but incredible and so helpful with our wedding week. I even forgot the left over wedding cake in the freezer and she helped meet my brother to get it back to us! You will be so lucky and grateful to stay here for any occasion!

What an amazing and spectacular place! My partner and I spent three nights in one of the spa villas, and from the moment I arrived, it took my breath away…. The location was unreal, and the villa itself was super clean and cosy. The gas fireplace was perfect for the cold winter nights, the décor was beautiful and we had breakfast supplied for the duration of our stay. The views were spectacular and it was the most relaxing time away. Rachel and her family went out of their way to make our stay as special as could be, and on the Saturday night my partner proposed to me on the river boardwalk outside our villa! It was such a magical moment, one that I will cherish forever. I can’t thank Rachel and her family enough for being there and capturing our special moment and going above and beyond for my partner and I. After the proposal we spent three nights in the villa which was in the perfect location and very close to surrounding restaurants and wineries. Could not recommend this place enough and will definitely be back again!

A delightful stay - the villa is really special, the attention to every detail noticeable. Rachel’s assistance with our tours was also pitch perfect for our first yarra valley experience. A little slice of luxury in an extremely picturesque location. We will be back.

Araleun is the epitome of relaxation and luxury - from the breath taking views over the valley to the heated towel rack! Clean, warm, cosy, beautifully styled, private. The hosts provided excellent service and had an in depth knowledge of the area. Highly recommend for as many nights you can escape for!

Stayed last Sunday night after an enjoyable day in the Yarra Valley. Superb accommodation and fabulous pool. Beautiful peaceful setting, great attention to detail and relaxing atmosphere. Great for a couple to unwind and relax. Recommend highly!

We stayed in the hilltop villa for 3 nights after our wedding. The villa was beautiful, relaxing and tranquil! Rachel allowed us to create a custom package so we could experience some pampering and some great food/wine options. Everything selected was top notch with great people at every venue affiliated. Beautiful accommodation in bush setting with luxury furnishings, manchester and Sheridan bath linen. We enjoyed the sound of bell-birds and a friendly wallaby hanging around the grounds, and the solar heated pool was the perfect temperature and well-maintained.

Absolutely gorgeous accomodation, first class, and really lovely hosts. We coundnt fault it. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.
