We arrived there around 7: 30pm and recognized it's FREE. However it's a shame that the slide closed at 7pm. Anyway, we had fun here though.

Third visit these school holidays, I feel absolutely satisfied that I can write this review with confidence.
1st visit all went relatively smooth, with the exception of a filthy parents room, cold shower and broken nappy bin.
2nd visit this time with 6 kids, was provided a discounted price due to only “one slide in operation” however overcrowded and with unsafe conditions. I decided to leave early and give it a go on a morning.
3rd visit today, 2 adults, 2 babies and a 12 year old the pool was freezing! Chattering mouth, blue peripherals and goose bumps are not what babies should be subjected to.
I approached the lifeguard who simply swished I’m his hand in the water and said it’s fine? Then proceeded to the other side of the pool to chat with another female lifeguard. A patron in the pool with me commented that the pool was cold and he couldn’t wait to leave.
After exiting the pool I approached a lady asking what the complaints process was, although she was on the way to the toilet and smelt like cigarettes she kindly told me that I could put a suggestion in the box.
Well after not being able to locate the box online is where the complaint goes.
Never ever will I return, recommend or swim at this pool.

I strongly suggest that the rules are followed with “arms length” children as the lifeguards on one occasion did not notice a toddler face down in the water.

Knox Leisure works, Monash Aquatic Centre and Dandenong Oasis are much better and feel much safer than this option.

Awesome facilities. Pools are great, waterslides and diving boards are a real hit with kids and adults. Outdoor section is lovely and staff are very polite.

This review is in relation to the Individual Lifestyle membership which Acquanation offers (with other centres) as well as my thoughts on Acquanation and Acquahub. It is quite detail so to help anyone considering taking a membership to make a decision. I have cancelled my membership as I found it did not work for me but it may work for others.

Acquanation has a good spa, sauna, steam room and warm water pool area. Acquanation also has a 50m indoor pool. In relation to the 50m indoor pool it has a very shallow area and the other side is about 2m deep. In relation to the shallow area it is an advantage as it is easy to get in and out of the pool from the lane. However I had an issue with the shallow area when swimming breaststroke as I found it too shallow at times to swim breaststroke in.

The major problem I found with the 50 metre pool is that it is nearly impossible to get a lane to yourself. I tried coming into the centre at 5.30am, went into the centre in the evenings. But except for once on Saturday at 6pm it was impossible to get a lane to myself. Acquanation has plenty of lanes (10 I believe) so it is not the number of lanes that causes the problems but rather the fact it is an indoor pool so it is popular and that the pool closes too early. I do not understand why the pool closes at 9pm Monday to Thursdays when the Gym closes at 10pm. I think if the pool closed at 9.30pm or 9.45pm (prefer 9.45pm) from Mondays to Thursdays it may have solved my issue with never being able to find a lane. Also due to family commitments the earliest I could realistically get to the centre on weekdays is around 8pm (if I was lucky). Having less than a hour to swim laps (which still had 2-3 people per lane most times) and enjoy the spa, sauna and steam room was just not enough for me.

In relation to the gym, I found it hard to work out how to use the equipment. I could have booked an appointment for someone to show me how to use the equipment. However I got annoyed when 2 hours before my appointment they left a message to cancel because they double booked. These things do happen however due to the pool issues I was having I was not in the mood to book another appointment as it required planning with the family and I just couldn't be bothered. Also I am not a huge fan of gyms (weights) in general.

I personally found Acquanation too big of a community for me. However to be fair I did not really make an effort to engage with the staff.

In relation to Acquahub I could work out how to use the gym equipment as it is equipment I am use to. However the gym did not have scales which annoyed the hell out of me. The basketball courts are available for casual shooting more often than most basketball courts so that was a huge plus for me. The pool is a 25 Metre pool and generally can get a lane to oneself. The pool closes too early like Acquanation for my liking. Acquahub felt like a smaller, caring community which I appreciated.

I did not use the golf course feature (it is my understanding you can play at two golf courses for no entry free) or the other centres, though I tried to use the Rings. The one change that I believe must be made when signing up members is either get rid of the mention to the Rings or make it extremely clear before signing up that the membership does not include casual shooting, do not have it hidden somewhere in some document.

I joined Acquanation because I was impressed it had a 50 metre indoor pool with 10 lanes. When I saw it on Sunday yes all lanes were being used however this is normal at most places on a Sunday so I thought I would be able to make good use of the pool and took a risk on the closing times. I discovered the closing times did not work for me (that is my fault as I was aware of the closing times before I signed up). If either the closing times of the pools were extended by 30 minutes on weekdays or the membership gave access to a 24 hour gym I would have most likely kept my membership. I would have paid more for a 24 hour gym.

$8.50 to swim a few laps? We have a problem with health and wellbeing and the cost of living. To pay $8.50 to swim a few laps is ridiculous and while these centres should be helping people be active these prices are going to result in less people being active. It also results in a luxury only the wealthy can afford

I'm a member of the health club- good value. Locker rooms are clean, equipment seems well maintained, feel free to get in there and do my best. Can also access the pool. Not many frills available (eg byo hair dryer, ladies) but the basics you want are here! Yoga classes are good value for me too, and the foam roller classes. Supplement the usual heavy hitters. Just don't be late ;)

Great fun for my kids (8 and 13) as they use the waterslides a lot. Great play area for younger kids. Tons of parking.

Very angry right now the power went out and they kicked us all out with absolutely no reason at all and we were there less than 20 mins and the lifeguards kicked us out in the boiling sun and kept trying to ‘evacuate’ us.so we were trying to stand under the shelter and they wouldn’t even let us do that the lifeguards were forcing us to either leave or stand in the parking in the sun.the lifeguards and manager handled this situation very badly.

Went there on a Monday morning recently during a non busy time and yet still found myself waiting too long to get served. Staff, who had no idea of how to fast track, were robotically apologising for taking so long. The pool itself, meanwhile, seemed hyper chlorinated, as if it had been given a double dose. The pricing is set too high for the socio-economic status of the venue and during the winter the indoor temperature is far too high.

Pools are excellent, clean and the same has always been true with the change rooms on our many visits. The staff are courteous, the prices are acceptable, the life guards are actively vigilant and it appears that the pools maintain a rigorous schedule of water sampling and testing for safety control.

Worst pool the ice in my fridge isn’t as half as cold as the big pool and the life guards just look or the simplest mistake so they might get promoted, we were swimming and at 8: 25 we were yelled at by a life guard to leave and at that moment we forget a hair tie or band in the pool they didn’t allow us to retrieve it instead they tried to get us out, r they trying to scam us it’s meant to close 9 pm Friday but why 8: 25 pm unacceptable not impressed at all.

This is a really really great place for kids and family especially during hot summer days. They have:

- Full length swimming pool for all with depth staring from 1m.
- Warm water pool, spa & sauna for people who need special treatment
- Two water slides to entertain those who love a little bit more challenge.

I have two kids in lessons here and I'm very happy with the service, the quality of the instructors, and the cleanliness of the facilities.

I love this swimming pool! It's really great for kids, it has a water playground with slides for the little ones and big water slides for the big kids. Plenty of change room facilities which are kept very clean.

We love this place generally.
Except can rarely get baby change rooms and staff don't let parents with young kids use the senior change rooms.

The pools are very clean and the water is quite warm in the small pool. The big pool is quite cold!
The change rooms are good but again, very cold. It's terrible during the winter time and specially when I take my kids. The showers in the ladies change rooms are cold too. I take the kids to the family rooms where the rooms are spacious and the water is warm. They don't have many of these "parents" rooms though.
All in all, this is a good facility:)
