Worst experience with an educational service provider. Started having lessons for my 8 year old in January '19. There have been more cancellations than lessons in the two and a half months up to now. Not quite sure if it is this particular teacher or not, but a very unprofessional service overall. When I posted about this in FB, within 30 mins they terminated the service without so much as a courtesy call or email - saved us the hassle of giving notice - perhaps they knew the teacher would not turn up anyway. Not what you need when you're looking for consistency and to get your child in to a proper rhythm. I would definitely look elsewhere first.

Fantastic tutors. We have been using this service for around 3 years and have found the organisation, administration staff and the tutors to be highly professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to improving our children's understanding and recall of Maths, English and Science.

This is not just a tutor service to help bring children up to expected levels, but to identify gaps in their learning (prior to going to high school - which is what we initially used it for) and then extend their learning further.

This isn't simply about teaching to the next level (which may then cause issues in the next school year with the child being bored) but expanding the learning laterally to encompass a wider curriculum.

The tutors use a range of tools, games and strategies to reach the children and make learning fun. I am constantly amazed at just how much laughter comes from the room in which this is taking place and how rapid not only the rapport is built but the confidence and knowledge attained.

I would not hesitate to recommend this service (and have done so to my friends).

Engaged Individual Tutor my 9yo son - tutoring was fine. Absolutely terrible experience after AP wanted to change the tutor and the time of the weekly sessions. Working full time and having another child made change in time impossible. Change in tutor also wasn’t acceptable as my son had taken time to develop a relationship that we weren’t prepared to go through again. Upon cancellation refund took over 4 weeks to get processed. Retention of over $240 as a “cancellation fee” even though we cancelled because they needed to change time and tutor. If you must use them do not prepay by any means. Be prepared to fight and wait for any refund you are entitled to. Unfortunately the experience has cost us $240 that I’m happy to wear as long as it serves as a warning to others.

Tutoring stream-lined for me, in line with the new Victorian curriculum, this has been a god send and kept me up to date and ahead of my tertiary studies. Anthea's maths knowledge is vast and the lessons are relevant and fun. The LANTITE preparation has given me the confidence and knowledge to sit these exams.

Both my girls have been with AP Tutoring for nearly 2 years, with great results. My eldest daughter hated Math in Year 8 and really struggled with the basic concepts, despite hours of homework and lots of effort. Math is now her favourite subject, so much so that she's chosen Math Methods & Specialist Math as her Year 11 subjects! From the tutors to the office staff, the whole team at AP Tutoring are so helpful and easy to deal with. Nothing is ever too difficult for them. I would (and have!) recommended AP Tutoring to anyone.

We've had a great experience so far. I find the office very helpful and the tutor is fantastic. He's really well suited to my son and after seven weeks we've seen a huge increase in his confidence. I would definitely recommend!

Very bad experience all what they want is money, gave them the 4 weeks notice they required yet they wanted more and saying they will send the invoices like it or not, Waited for the tutor to come the lesson after my discussions with Mark (their admin) and she did not show, with no calls or apologies. Very bad business not recommended at all.
