I sent my computer to App Tech after my local Apple Authorised Dealer failed to accept the warranty on my computer. They were more than helpful in all phone calls and emails, my computer was posted back to me only 5 days after it arrived. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I took my 2013 Macbook Pro in because it was not recognising the inbuilt speakers after liquid was accidentally spilled over the speaker and Apple advised that the headphone jack might need to be cleaned. Apparently it's a common problem with Macs that the sensor in the headphone jack gets dirty or breaks, causing the Mac to assume that headphones have been inserted and turn off the inbuilt speakers. After inspecting my Mac, Apptech advised that a part needed replacing and would cost over $1000 and the repair was not worth doing on an old model like mine. Later the same evening after bringing the Mac home, I tried a couple of things - connecting via bluetooth to an external speaker and fiddling around in the headphone jack with a stripped cotton bud - and, lo and behold, to my surprise the Mac picked up the inbuilt speakers again. Thank goodness I didn't spend over $1,000 on the repair. Based on this experience, I'd think twice about taking a device there again.

I was very disappointed with the way a staff member handled my custom today at around 3 o’clock. I needed a new lap top and it was suggested that I get a MacPro 1TB as mine is an old model with 1TB storage. I agreed for the latest model. When I arrived at the store there was nobody else there but after a few minutes later 3 customers arrived followed by 3 more. It was getting busy. An extra staff member appeared later to help out. In the meantime I was asked to open my lap top but to my dismay it was Installing something and it was going to take 45mins! I was told, in between handling other customers, that there was nothing they could do now and suggested I come back another time. They looked like they were going to be busy. So I left feeling very disappointed. Anyway when I got home a few minutes later, I plugged in my old lap top to power and in no time it proceeded to complete the “installation”. I’m too upset to return as it could have been handled better.

Quick, no nonsense assistance for repairs. Helpful sales personnel. Best accredited Apple repair place in Geelong by far.

Very grateful to the tech guy who took my call in regards to updating the OSX version on my mac. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to explain how to do it. Much appreciated.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Apptech. I put my computer in to be fixed and paid $110. When I picked up my computer it was not working. I called Apptech and was told it was my charger that was faulty. I went to Chadstone and bought a new charger from Apple. However my computer would still not turn on. I then took my computer back to Apptech and they had the audacity to charge me an additional $18, despite not fixing my computer and providing poor service the first time around. I would not recommend Apptech to my friends or family. This business does not offer customer service of an acceptable standard.

My Mac died a nasty death in the middle of a very stressful time at work. I required the computer fixed urgently. I rang Jett who was cool and calm and arranged to attempt to repair it urgently. Jett did just that! Worked right through his lunch hour (the poor dude) and fixed it and had me back on the tools the same day. Thanks Jett, Eddie and the team - you are always brilliant - which is why I buy all my Apply gear with you. Amazing after sale service. Above and beyond.

I had a problem with my daughters MacBook and living in Ballarat didn’t have local access to a repairer. I emailed 4 different shops within 120km and only Apptech had the decency to reply
After a few emails to decide the best course of action they arranged things so I only had to make one trip to Geelong and they had it for a couple of hours to fix
All very much appreciated

All stars for the guys at Apptech. I bought a refurbished iMac and had a series of difficulties that were elusive and time consuming. This had me tearing my hair out and thinking it was unfixable. To their credit, they worked through the issue over a very long timeframe and turned it around.

The staff, and Eddie in particular, showed enormous patience and determination to look after me as a customer. They just kept at it until it was right. Mostly, at their cost. Which was as unexpected as it was pleasant. It's rare that you get customer service like that these days and I'm pleased I went there. Unflappable and professional. Thanks.

Great experience here today, rang first explaining iPhone wouldn’t charge, expected costs for assessing then repair but was instead told to come in and they’d check the battery for free! Lovely staff in store, tested my phone and told me it was just my charging cable: no need for expensive new battery even though I’d insisted that had to be the problem. Bought the $29 cable and am so very relieved my phone is 100% charged and holding it well, working perfectly as always and all for a quick visit with prompt service and 29 bucks! I could not be happier with the honest and efficient service provided! I’m really relieved to now have a repair shop to go to I can trust. Thanks guys.

It’s great that there is an Apple certified provider in Geelong. Got my dodgy MacBook Pro screen fixed through Apptech and it works as good as new. Staff are friendly and approachable.

My only criticism is the turnaround on repairs and getting in new products which no doubt comes down to Apple - they really need to work on their shipping times so that turnaround times can be improved. As a comparison - I can purchase a new lense for my DSLR camera and get it delivered within a few working days yet it takes two weeks for Apptech to get a replacement screen from Apple.

I have never been treated so well in a retail store as i have at the Apptech Geelong store in ormand rd. The level of knowledge of the products is amazing. Very friendly, and the sales staff along with the service department are eager to help. I will keep buying the Apple products because of this store.

The staff know their stuff and are super patient with those of us who are not so tech savvy. I just bought my second laptop and have had repairs done. I couldn't be happier with their friendly service.

Why did I waste my time. Should of gone here first.
After being in MYER with no success in repairing or replacing a broken Apple Watch that was purchased less than 6mths old with AppleCare+ and to have been told I would be need to put a deposit $919.00 as security for a replacement watch from Apple.to walk into APPTECK and to have only spent 5minutes to have it sent off with no expense was awesome.they are reviewing the watch and could possibly cost a maximum of 99.00 if at all. Brilliant!

AppTech Ormond Road has to be the place to bring all of your Apple gear for servicing and repairs. They are friendly and efficient and will go the extra distance to make sure you leave satisfied. They also sell new and refurbished gear too.

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Bad communication skills! If I'd know that they had to send the IPad off I could have done it myself and not have to put up with that RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Man!

Excellent service - really went over and above to help me with my phone. Recommend Apptec as the place to go for sales and support with Apple products in Greater Geelong area.

Brian is amazing, I honestly can not rate the services from Apptec any higher, not only did Brian restore my faith in humanity but he also helped me in a time of need. I was unable to afford my laptop repairs which contained all the photos of my late partner and two years worth of school work which I was due to submit. Brian could have let me buy a hard-drive to back up all my photos and work but instead he offered to fix my laptop free of charge! I honestly can not explain how touched I am by his kindness.

I went to Apptech by chance. I was visiting Australia, driving through Geelong, headed towards Great Ocean Road.

I took a detour to find something for a friend at a store near Apptech. That turned out to be a dead end. Having spotted Apptech, I decided to walk in as I needed an Australian Power Adapter Extension Cable.

I was told these weren't for sale separately (not sure if that was the case then - this was May/June 2017 - or they were just out of stock). If I wanted one, I would have to buy an older model MagSafe/2 power adapter which is bundled with the extension. This was incompatible with my USB-C MacBook Pro and would set me back more than AU$100.

I explained that I was just visiting, and the extension cable would make things a lot easier. Using the power adapter with a travel adapter is too much weight, and the power adapter doesn't stay in older power sockets.

So, the salesperson (I'm really sorry I did not get her name) told me to give her two seconds. She went to the back, then reappeared with an extension cable in her hand.

How much?

"Oh, it's a spare. Just keep it. "

Wow! Now that's service.:)

Thank you, Apptech!
