Apollo Bay Golf Club reviews
9Great value, even at full price. Lodgers at the local Big4 get all-day golf for $17. Played here several times within a week and enjoyed it each time. Very forgiving fairways with neighbouring ones providing generous in-bounds leeway.
A 9 hole course that can be played 18.is was the best experience for us. Driving 224km from Melbourne or 3 hours drive really worth the experience.it is a humble and entertaining country course wi the lots of good people there. Strongly advise to book via online through Book A Tee, as most of the time nobody was in the club house.
My best tips:
1.book and pay via online no hassle
2. Played the first nine hole
3. Once you hit hole no 8, there is a small coffee shop in front of the green. Grab a cup and some refreshment
4. Do the 10th and the 11th, before you continue turn to left as there is A Tasty and must visit Fish and Chip shop, enjoy your break outside…you’ll love it
5. Continue the 12th and so on…
You will enjoy the best experience in Apollo Bay GC in a full package
Great course, very challenging and the most beautiful views. For those complaining about no one at the club when booking you need to use book a tee and the club operates on an honesty system for green fees. Just put your money in the envelope, drop in the slot and away you go. Great value to be able to play all day.
The outdoor Greenkeeper was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed round here. Small 9 holes but well kept greens and fairways.
One of my very favourite coastal golf courses has always been Apollo Bay. The course was in immaculate condition and is a delight notwithstanding some challenging tee shots. Greens small but were excellent condition with some stunning views along coast. Several interesting features include the 3rd only 304m but can play like a 500m with head wind. A 9 hole layout with 18 tees beautiful views and scenery. A must to play while in the region and a wonderful seaside town.
Sadly to celebrate life of young man take too early.members and caterers were brilliant and caring service made a huge difference
Good golf course, quite well maintained, awesome views and some very challenging par 4 holes i must say.good fun to play!
Great little course. As my mate said. Only need a few clubs. Loved the two long par 3's 7th and 8th holes.
Beautiful enjoyable, shhort, narrow and windy course. The greens are not the best.but good enough to have some fun.
It is a public course, right next to the ocean.enjoyed very much
