Anytime Fitness

Liking the new gym upgrade and more space upstairs! However there’s now not enough floor space for mat/floor work as down stairs area is now lifting space, and area near toilets is too small, slightly more floor area needed.

Very friendly staff and a clean environment. I haven't spent enough time there to write an in-depth review but my experience so far has been great. Would recommend if anyone is thinking about joining a gym.

Great gym, good team, lovely people. Highly recommend. Go in and check it out as it is clean and has a good variety of equipment.

Good gym, not too busy (obviously peak hour is always busy). Equipment fairly new, wishing it was a bit more spacious however and can get pretty busy during peak times. AC/fans seldom aren't working do can also get quite hot as well.

Overall however, not enough negatives to deter away.

I have not used a gym in over 50 years. They have been very helpful and supportive to someone who was at essentially a pre-school level of skills in gym usage!

Good gym all round. Huge advantage with opening hours and network-membership. Everything you'd need to exercise in a way that suits. Good vibe and range of people at differnt stages of fitness journey.

Could be cleaner.

I made an appointment with Anytime Fitness Heidelberg. They kept spamming me with "special offer" text messages multiple times a day and several reminders regarding my upcoming appointment. Why do I need three text messages about the same "special offer" in the space of one minute?
Anyway, I get to the gym at 3pm, ready for my appointment. No one is around. I waited outside for 10 minutes. No one insight. A gym member decided to let me in, which is nice but against policy. Then I walked over to the manager's office to find it completely empty. I then decided to walk around the gym hoping to find an employee, I couldn't find anyone but a whole bunch of gym guys staring at me, which made me feel pretty uncomfortable. After that, I decided to head back over to the office and gave them a call. Guess what, no answer. It's been 35 minutes now and it didn't look like anyone was going to show.
The next day, one of the employees left me a voicemail which basically said "we are currently understaffed and didn't have anyone available for your appointment. " I understand that a lot of businesses at the moment are having staffing issues but why would you let me book an appointment on a day no one is rostered on? There was no heads up or any kind of communication, if you had just sent me a text one hour earlier I would've understood. I guess the two reminder messages I got the day before should've been for you guys.
I didn't even bother to reschedule because the samething would've happened again. Thanks for leaving me out to dry.

I will be going to Snap Fitness from now on.

Rang and booked to show up for a trial, when arrived got told a walk through that just arrived they were seeing instead. When questioned why aren't you keeping to a booked customer the guy said "what would you do! " My reply I would be professional and keep the booking of a customer who had set that time aside and travelled to be there. No apology just defending his poor actions. Never again will I go near this gym. The worst customer service ever, ego based, arrogant, rude and no professionalism.

Best gym in Heidelberg! Super clean, great staff and great value for money. I highly recommend giving AF Heidelberg a go.

After ending my membership and confirming with payment, I have continued to be charged for 4 months, staff seemingly have no idea why! I can't believe such a basic and important task can't be done correctly and it seems I'm not the only one.

I love this gym! Great relaxed atmosphere. Not too busy. Staff are helpful. Good vibes. Only gripe would be that the after hours door never works for my fob! Apart from that it's my favourite gym in Melbourne to work out!

Have been a member for almost ten (10) years. It is so convenient for myself and my husband.as it reads. ANYTIME! No excuses (apart from covid) All year round, comfortable conditions, plenty of equipment and friendly group. Help is always at hand thanks to terrific staff. Thanks to John and now Blake. Lost my job with the pandemic, trying to cancel my membership with this guys after 1 year and l have been told that actually l have a 1.5years contract and also another 4 month on top becouse of the lockdown. And what bothers me is that l can't find understanding with this people even in times like this.very disappointed, very bad experience

Non existent communication and absolutely no attention paid by staff to the necessary ongoing management of accounts.

A few months ago now, but had a bad experience with this venue. I do not recommend this Anytime franchise, but others may be ok.or any other surrounding gym.even working out at home would be preferable!

I was a member of this gym until approx. 4 years ago. Out of the blue, I start getting messages from Anytime Fitness that my account was in arrears even though my membership was cancelled fully paid up years ago). Despite the fact that it is clearly an error on their end - they keep demanding payment and even referred the matter to a debt collection agency. Absolutely appalling business practice- they need to get their house in order.

Good sized, no fuss gym with everything you need and good facilities. Upstairs is free weights, weights machines and cardio machines, downstairs has a large training area, smaller stretching area, ab machines and toilet/bathroom facilities. Customer carpark off the main street, out the back.

I have just received a call from a collections agency based on a bill from this anytime fitness. I cancelled my membership 3 years ago, and have never received a bill from anytime fitness, and have never had any communication to say I owe them money. 3 years later I find they have sold my information to a collection agency who says I owe them hundreds of dollars. What kind of scam are you guys running?

Good gym - sufficient equipment and facilities which are maintained well and the gym itself is kept clean! Also spacious and not too crowded

Friendly staff, quite well laid out over 2 levels. Probably my favourite anytime so far. Signed up here and got a decent deal too:)
