Deciding to install a pool during the Covid 19 period we engaged Anthony to design our outdoor area to enable a much better use of the space and to compliment the pool design we had in mind. The process was quite detailed and also hands on. The design presented gave us goose bu ps that this could be achieved and all ours. The hard part of the execution of trades and part doing it ourselves - Anthony held our hand and guided us with choices and practical advice. Just last week we have completed the project. The end result is beyond what we thought it would be. With a young family we are now set to enjoy a pool, the landscaping and living areas in the warmth of summer. We engaged Anthony Scott to do or landscape design for our front yard. The brief I gave Anthony was that I wanted something around my new pool that was Wow. I had researched pools and the common denominator I could find was that lots of pools are put in but they are not space with purpose, they age and rather than being a feature they become a negative for the property. I have a young family but I wanted the space to incorporate not only the kids but the adults to.
I really didn’t know what I wanted. Anthony spent time exploring all options with me.
In the end I wanted a mid century, old Hollywood resort feel design with no native plants.
Anthony delivered the design and I was blown away he is incredibly talented.
We built this pool and started the landscaping in the middle of lockdowns and labour shortages. We have had to do a lot more of the work ourselves than we ever anticipated because of these unprecedented times and Anthony has been an incredible support.
We felt with Anthony that he was a partner in the build and bringing our dreams to reality.
The measurements, the detail and what Anthony delivers is second to none. Anthony Scott was the greatest asset, partner to our build.
Anthony is not only super professional, clever, technical we found him an absolute delight to deal with. We could not have got through this project without him. From the colours of the pavers, to the hooks for the towels Anthony has worked with us the whole way.

We used Anthony 25 years ago to do the paving at our new house. Back then he did an excellent job. When we wanted a "new" backyard, we contacted Anthony again.
We met, he listened, he gave us a design. After a few modifications, we settled on a design + price
We agreed on a start date, and an approx finish date.
What can I say, except he and his team started on the exact date, re-did the whole backyard. New Paving, new grass, new garden beds, new plants, new irrigation system, external lighting, new pathways, new arbor, etc.
Result: A great design came to fruition, and we (all the family) are all very much pleased with the final outcome.

Anthony has completed stage one of our landscaping. He has taken a part of the house which was damp and retained water each time it rained and solved the problem. Right from our initial meeting, Anthony’s friendliness, enthusiasm and unique ability to listen to and understand the brief was outstanding. We presented him with an exceptionally challenging project given both the topography and limited access to our new home construction site. The brief was to turn a narrow and exceptionally steep sloping construction site into a coastal native landscape that blended our industrial seaside dwelling with the surrounding bushland.
Anthony provided a thoughtful, budget sensitive and creative design which allowed the landscape to become an extension of the inside of the house both visually and functionally delivering distinctive characters and qualities to each outdoor living space including the new pool. We were provided with a superbly clear and systematic plan including images of locally sourced plants and landscape elements to enable us to better envisage the final product.
The information that was provided in the design showed not only the overall plan, but an exceptional level of detail in his construction notes that we were able to pass onto our installation landscaper to ensure his vision could be created accurately and do justice to his beautiful design. A complete outdoor lighting plan was also prepared that extended the use of the outdoor spaces into the night.

Anthony Scott just completed the transformation of our front garden and we are amazed at the result. His attention to detail is a great asset.
