Angus & Coote Fountain Gate

Thank you to Fay for helping me choose a Valentine's gift for my partner, a really nice shopping experience.

I am sad to be writing this review because I absolutely used to love this store and have never had a problem with product quality or staff until recently.

My partner was trying on necklaces which had a “K” pendant attached on one of the chains and once he was done finding the perfect size he handed back the necklace to the lady with the pendant attached. She saw us give back the necklace with the pendant but she misplaced the pendant and accused us of stealing alongside her other coworker. We even helped to look for the misplaced pendant.

The staff were extremely rude and threw accusations at us even though we gave them back the pendant and necklace. We shook our clothes, helped searched and they still insisted we “stole” and tried to intimidate us by repeating “we’ll look at the cameras” which obviously didn’t work because we never stole lol.

Will never shop here again, nor will my friends or family. Very disappointing behaviour.

I have bought a gold chain few weeks ago, the color was changed, and they said it is normal, unbelievable, bad experience bad order

Went in store to purchase a new pendant and chain & was greeted quite quickly and shown a few great options. The sales associate was professional and helpful, offering professional advice and also helping me by offering her personal opinion as to which item I should choose as a gift for my family member.

She was also really kind to my younger brother who was there, ensuring that he wasn’t too bored looking at jewellery.

Definitely recommend this store. Thanks so much. It was a quick and smooth purchase.

Absolutely amazing service! My mum had to get a ring fixed recently and the staff were knowledgeable and so helpful to get the repair in and also help us find some others sparkly treasures. Thanks for the great service team Fountain Gate:)

Have bought this gold during Christmas time as a gift, my partner just wear one time and then the color totally changed, have reported to the them and wish could get the refund, they replied rudely and said it's impossible, it's our fault that I need clean it everyweek, they said they have done the assessment but can not provide the report to me, when I ask why, they just ask me get out. Terrible service, good thing is that i have taken all the proof as per what my lawyer suggested, customer need to be respected and can not be cheated, we believe that “The law will give everyone justice”

Just see the picture below of the gold that just wear once, even worse than the copper, plus they are very rude to my partner when we reported the issue, they just ask us 'get out', never come across such a kind of cheating shop, we have to reported to the public that everyone can see, it's a shame that this kind shop in our shopping center.

Horrible service, purchased a necklace for my wife last year which broke after been worn only twice. Returned to Southland store less than a week later and they refused to fix it even though she remembered us but we didn’t bring the receipt. Then we went into lockdown and couldn’t go back. Now we brought it back to fountain gate in packaging and brought the receipt, but only realised it was the wrong receipt for something else we bought. First thing the lady said was ‘first off, you shouldn’t store the necklace like this’, a little bag that was provided for the necklace inside the box! Was very rude until I mentioned this is the second time we were spoken to rudely. Final result, we couldn’t find out receipt, second time they couldn’t just look the receipt up, this time the excuse was because it was from another store even though we had the date of the purchase both times and a online bank statement the first time. Very disappointing, we left and went to our favourite jewellery store and they provided us with a new and better quality chain for a discounted price, and purchased the chain from us.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Will never shop here again, don’t waste your time or money on bad quality and horrible customer service!

I have always been greeted with a smile and they are always willing to help, they are not pushy at all and I've had a few adjustments done to several watches that I HAVE NOT PURCHASED at their store and they do them without charge. 10 out of 10. Thanks.

Some feedback could be made by the same staff the truth is this shop should be closed already and give the oportunity to other retailers who could have a customer service because some staff are completely failed we must be honest business are created by customers you should review all staff and test them otherwise this store does not deserve running business in this shopping centre. I had very bad experience here as a customer.

Got my engagement ring from the Angus & Coote near big w and 6 months later the same lovely sales lady help us find that matching band from the set and help us pick a ring for my husband to be! Could not fault the service! Very happy!

You'll be lucky to get served here.waited 20 mins like an idiot.yes the girl was serving someone else but they just looked like window shoppers asking 50 questions.the good salesperson thing to do is tell the person waiting that you'll be with them soon.she would look at me and not even acknowledge me.went into a shop down the other end and got a most helpful lady serve me even though she was busy. I like people to earn their sales.so wont be gping back here.
