A very sick asian woman working as a store manager, she treated me like a criminal. Shouting & looking upset to me when she asked for my ID. She should live in the jungle. Awful experience alive.
Never come to this store unless if you are prepared to be treated like criminal. I went to this store with my wife to look for a diamond ring for our 28th wedding anniversary. When we requested the shop assistant to see the one that my wife interested, she apologised beforehand to ask for an ID. My wife asked why and was replied that the price of the item is beyond the threshold which requires them to hold for our ID. Since she was asking politely my wife had no concern and was about to take out her licence. My wife asked again if it is a rule for all jewellery shops as she has never asked at Michael Hill, Bevilles and Salera. We felt that it is inappropriate and insulting. All of the sudden an old Chinese woman who I assumed is the store manager and stood at the far corner in front of the counter machine shouted on top of her voice and yelled "It's a regulation and you must oblige! ". We were shocked and replied that we don't have to oblige and can just walk away as this is a shop not a police station. Due to this insane woman heckler my wife changed her mind and we just walked away. However this incident made my wife shocked and shaking while we're walking out of the store as she felt really insulted in front of other customers. My wife and I have lived in Melbourne for 29 years and got two adult sons born and bred here and this is the first time we saw and experienced a very "barbaric" shop manager to customers for no reason. Please go to other stores, where you can find more pleasant customer experience. To Angus & Coote upper management, please train this old woman to learn manners and etiquette.
I would give negative rating if i could. Extremely rude attitude! Especially the store manager! Worst experience in my whole life ever! Spent a few hundred dollars for a 9ct gold necklace, brock by itself after a few weeks! Then they offered an exchange, broke again after wearing it for a few hours! I called up to ask what they can do, told me to have the receipt and call again to speak to the manager. I found the receipt and called up again, and the store manager talked to me rudely without even listening "you already know nothing you can get from us! Why are you talking rude and aggressive"? Your stuff told me to get the receipt and call again so I did, then I receive this. Worst Worst Worst retailer ever, very poor quality products too. Don't ever purchase anything from this brand!

My engagement ring is broken nine weeks before our wedding. The manager of the Doncaster store at Shoppingtown has just hung up on me and accused me of calling multiple times (first time I called!). She has called me rude and when I asked what ‘status quo’ meant she made me feel inferior and stupid! Hence my change of attitude!
When I returned the ring, devastated that the claw was broken which made the stone slip out, not even an apology was received from the shop. I will never use this jewellery store again after this horrific experience.
Very unhelpful. Ring to check stock, won't put on hold (even for an hour) or take a payment over the phone so that I could secure the stock.
I will never step foot in the Doncaster store again. I'm so deeply appalled by the lack of customer service I just experienced. Both attendants treated me like a thief, they would barely show me the jewelry, stating it was their store policy not to let me look at it closely. The attendants then later reprimanded my children for 'eating a snack' in store - they made no mess whatsoever, again stating it was their store policy. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They lost out on 2 sales today! They need serious training!
Really bad customer service! I went to shop to exchange my husbands chain she yelled at me and said you damaged it we can’t exchange it!
Staff were extremely helpful and didn’t shame me for having a very low budget and using a payment plan.even when my card declined they were so lovely and kind.kaysha and the other girls (didn’t get their names) are absolute gems.so happy with my ring!

Excellent service and kind staff, they let me try on any product i wanted and were very helpful when making adjustments.i left their shop very satisfied and would highly recomend to anyone looking for a watch or jewlery
Disgusting service from this woman my husband was pointing the the gold items he wanted to look at and she started raising her voice and told him to stop talking with his hands and told us to get out. We will never shop there again We have never been spoken to like that before by an Asian person who the hell does she think she is. Arrogant rude and doesn’t know how to treat customers
Well the staff is not so welcome as the other stores you would usually go to.
But they do have a decent collection

Don’t bother shopping here. Very poor customer service and the manager Kasha is arrogant and condescending. I purchased a Seiko watch in Feb 2020 which stopped working. There were numerous battery replacements and pressure tests done which didn’t solve the problem. It was clearly faulty. I returned the watch to Angus & Coote Doncaster five times between Feb 2020 and April 2022. They said it couldn’t be replaced as it was out of warranty. In July 2022 I contacted Seiko Customer Service who approved a refund. No apology from Angus & Coote for all the inconvenience. Overall a shocking experience.

That kaysha manager is an absolute so and so! So rude and definitely has no idea about customer service. After reading all the bad reviews about her I'm surprised she's still got a job! Definitely won't be shopping there!
I had a terrible experience with the Asian lady manager (kaysha). She was rude and unfriendly when I came on to try and buy rings. She interrupted and talked over her own staff members and provided rushed and impolite customer service when I was trying the ring sizes on. I will not be returning as I honestly feel bad for the frontline employees who have to work under her.
Worst worst worst service. All the time every time. The manager and assistant manager are terrible. All staff are terrible and the service is rubbish.
