21For the price you’re paying, this is 100% a bang for your buck. Everything was so fresh and crispy despite the 15 minute transport home. Perfect amount of seasoning and the couple who runs the place are so friendly and kind. Also very generous with their servings and gave us an extra potato cake! Me and my partner have agreed it is our new go-to fish and chip joint
Returned here after a break for a while, found size of the fish has decreased and is a lot smaller. Prices have increased and is now a bit of a treat not an every week go to. Food is still good.
The people that left 5 star reviews on here either haven’t been anywhere else or they’re fake accounts. It’s not great. Soggy and oily to say the least. Smileys is a much better option.
I order two potatoes cakes but the gave me FOUR! So generous! The cakes were nice and crispy! For a cheap price. I'm coming back!
Not only are the chips delicious here and everything else on the menu but the customer service is one of the nicest ones you'll find anywhere. They are so sweet and loving and nice.
An unassuming hole in the wall kind of a fish and chips place that served me what I believe is the BEST fish and chips I’ve had in years!
We packed it to go to the park and it was suchhh a treat! Fish (flake and barramundi) was fresh and beautifully fried and seasoned with chicken salt (amazing, btw if you’ve not tried). It was tender and batter still held well together despite being packed and traveling to the picnic place for about 10mins.
Chips were amazing - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I could not stop. And the nice potato bits were just a treat!
Highly recommend. Affordable too!
Friday night fish and chips was very disappointing today
I think the oil needed changing as the food looked dark and dull
Even more disappointing was my 2 potatoe cakes which were extremely tiny in size.
Very good service and the owners are very kind, I sometimes even see their sons working in the front counter and helping unpack things. The food is good for fish n chips and I remember all the memories from when me and my friends would come home from school.
Great prices, super friendly. Gave extra of everything which was really lovely. Potato cakes delicious, crunchy and cooked well on the inside. Fish very tasty even gave extra fish. Will be coming back here
The best fish and chips store in town! The Scallops were exquisite and succulent, the customer service was impeccable and amiable! I loved the store's atmosphere and environment, I'm definitely visiting this place again! Great job!

Flake and Scollops were good. Calamari rings, couldn't see or taste Calamari! Potato cakes should have 2 layers of potato not 1 very thin and batter too oily and crunchy. Never again.
I had the worst experience i have had a fish and chips shop they gave me food poising and i felt very sick and good have died they have a son at kdc who is very rude and disrespectful to me and also has bullied me since year 7
If i had an option i give no stars. Twice i been there and the lack of service. Man is very rude could not understand him. Hygiene very poor but overall the chips were overcooked.
Food was extraordinary good love this place and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a tasty meal

With so many other better places to go to, I found the food here really lacking in quality and taste for the price and them wanting to get you out of the door as fast as possible.
Amazing shops, has everything you need. The fish and chips are amazing and they taste really good.
Best fish and chips in the area. Great pieces of fish delicious and large. Well priced, good service. We will be back.
