Anglesea Surf Centre

These guys are great. Got my first board from them over 15 years ago. Have been back multiple times since to buy and sell boards. They have a wealth of knowledge and genuinely care about finding you the right products. Highly recommend.

Possibly the finest surf shop I have had the pleasure of spending time at. It harbours a brilliant selection of quality wetsuits and surf clothing, alongside one the most extensive range of boards on the surf coast. Definitely worth a look ‍️‍️

Not a bad surf shop though I recently had an average experience here with with staff/owner who seemed a bit too angry to be in retail.

I had great service from the staff. I went looking for a new board to better suit my current needs, they gave me some good advice, allowed me to take a board for a test run before buying (which I did a few weeks later) and got a better price than I would have expected for my old board (sold on consignment). It was a pleasure to support a local business when you get good service back in spades.

My experience was pretty much what all the other reviewers said, great friendly knowledgable service, tried the rental board, then bought one new, great local advice, shop local. They came highly recommended and will be highly recommended! Thanks everyone!

Wow! What great, friendly service. Don't spend all your money with the big chains in Torquay, give these guys a go.

If you're up for a surf and don't have any gear, then I highly recommend Anglesea Surf Centre. Whether buying or hiring a board, need to hire or buy a wetsuit, this is the place to go.
The staff have fabulous local knowledge and can fill you in on the tides, the best spots to surf and how the day's surf will unfold.
Located in the heart of Anglesea, you can't miss it and there is plenty of parking out the front.
Whether you want to surf in Anglesea, or nearby Torquay, Lorne or the famous Bells Beach, these guys know their stuff.
Don't forget to LOOK UP when you go into the shop - I'll let you discover what I mean. The store is wheelchair friendly and kid friendly.
Food shops nearby and across the road is the Anglesea River and toilets and park.

Do NOT use for surfboard ding repairs unless you want it to fall out and have to repair it yourself anyway. Low quality rushed job.

Range of second hand boards seems good as well as hire options, but for surfboard repair forget it.

What a great bunch of people at Anglesea Surf, just the best if you want to purchase or sell a surf board or get the latest surf information about the Surf Coast.

Went in for a look around and after great prices and very attentive staff I found a t-shirt I have always wanted and a surf board for just the right amount $175.

Fantastic range of second hand surf boards with great advice on hand. Good range of surf clothing as well.
