Amanda and her team are amazing! Always super caring and compassionate and she genuinely cares about her patients. She would follow up and check up on me via text message in between appointments.now that's service!
Not to mention the amount of time Amanda stayed back or started earlier to squeeze me in for an appointment.

I am so grateful I have found this place. The team are very friendly and always are their to support you through any journey you are on. They are flexible and are all very loving.

Unprofessional and alarming

I came to Amanda with the hope that she would guide me in the right direction with my hormone issues. I was told that I needed to get a test that would cost around $400 to give me an accurate reading of my hormones. 2 months later I received the results and a phone call with Amanda (out of hours) late at night with some alarming information that it is highly possible I will contract a life threatening illness, clearly working on my vulnerabilities. As a healthy, young woman all I wanted was some guidance with my hormones instead she scared the living daylights out of me. Clearly feeling vulnerable I booked another appointment. Once I hung up I processed what was going on in the conversation and very quickly realised that this was a money making scam. This is an unprofessional practice able to work on people’s vulnerabilities. Please be aware as I don’t want anyone to go through what I did. Anyone with hormonal issues, find yourself a good endocrinologist as I did. I am healing and feeling amazing in a matter of a few weeks, with the correct medical guidance.

I went to Angea for infertile challenges and i had been working on getting my body ready for some time and also trying for some time too. I found the most supporting environment with Angea, I was the main focus and was handed the most amazing tools to get myself ready from a physical perspective as well as a soul level. The guidance I received as a mature person trying to conceive was outstanding. I was supported right through my IVF challenges to finally after of year with Angea I got pregnant. Then i had some major complication for my age and Angea supported me throughout my pregnancy to help reduce my high blood pressure with some amazing acupuncture and some drinkable herbs. If i did not use Angea I do not believe i would have ever got pregnant as there were things i did not know about my own body and about the process of IVF. I will always be indebted to Angea and Amanda specifically for supporting me on my journey to getting baby ready, but also conception, pregnancy and beyond. Thank you Angea for always supporting me and my family.

My experience at Angea has been nothing short of amazing and has exceeded my expectations. My confidence level with falling pregnant has increased significantly during my time there. Amanda is amazing. She is extremely supportive of my personal choices, helps me navigate all the fertility road bumps with a positive can do attitude. I really value this higher level of support. Amanda has really made my journey a lot easier, mentally, emotionally and energetically. I love that Amanda works in conjunction with other fertility specialists, including a GP and other allied health professionals. My fertility journey is being supported holistically and is fully integrated, which is important to me. Im very grateful for my Angea A-team Amanda and Chantelle.:)

Hate leaving bad reviews - and wish my experience was different.
Came here (feeling vulnerable, but excited and hopeful) for my first 1: 1 fertility session after attending group classes and following online for years. Considering the large cost, the consult was disorganised, a lack of focus, rushed, numerous interruptions checking in on other patients seen concurrently and yelling out to other patients/reception passing by while sitting in a transparent 'consult space', left with no clear treatment plan (and needles still in my ears without my knowledge until painfully finding out while driving). After providing constructive feedback directly - very civil, just explaining my experience - received a dismissive response with no apology, even for the fact that I left the clinic upset and deflated. Am sure some good work being done, but this was my experience so I unfortunately cancelled my follow-up appointment.

After 1.5 years of no periods due to coming off of the pill, recovering from anorexia and living with polycystic ovaries, in only 7 weeks from weekly acupuncture, herbs and guidance from Amanda I got my period. My cycles started off about 90 days and gradually got down to the 35 day mark with Amandas help.

After about 6 months I eventually only visited monthly for acupuncture, herbs and to check in. I've sadly moved to Brisbane and can't come in anymore but Amanda has set me up for a period and fertility filled future and I am forever grateful.

I could not recommend Amanda and her clinic enough!

Dr Amanda and Chardee have changed my life. They were so welcoming. Dr Amanda is helping me with sciatica, ademynosis, regulating my cycle and pelvic pain. She fully listens and cares. Her dedication for her clients are astounding. I suffered with my illness, pain and fatigue for so long. She really makes you feel heard and cared for. K love that she takes me through meditation, plays beautiful soothing music and encourages me to be in my heart space. I love that she specialises in womans health. Chardee is amazing also. She is helping me with trauma, negative patterns through reiki and kinesiology. I'm so grateful to them both as they are so kind and dedicated. Thank you for the laughter, healing, career advice and delicious tea. I recently also experienced healing womb massage with Kimberly which was so soothing and relaxing.

Amanda has now helped me prepare for two pregnancies. Both of which I achieved my desired result. The acupuncture worked wonders on my general health & wellbeing. The staff were all so welcoming, knowledgeable & caring.

I just had my first experience at Angea with an acupuncturist named Alix. I have sought many natural treatments over the years seeing many therapists & am so pleased that Alix was the real deal. Young, smart and genuine she really knew her stuff and made me feel so comfortable and at ease.

The treatment was absolutely divine and it is all the little touches this clinic offers that really make the difference - plus you can claim your hicaps on the spot which is super handy.

I have started my journey to better health and a more aligned understanding of my womb and body in general with Amanda and her team and I could not be any more pleased with the results I am feeling and seeing. I have Endometriosis and have some trauma from feeling not understood and also the notion that it is just a 'heavy' period. From my very first phone session and face to face session with Amanda, I have felt the space that she has opened for me as a clinician, an expert in her field of TCM and acupuncture, as a woman who truly understands the body and soul of a women in general and as a magnificent healer. This energy resonates amongst her whole team and not only is it a pleasure to be treated by someone so talented and diligent, it is a pleasure to walk in and feel like her whole team are there to open space and be there in the pain and angst and journey of clearing that healing is all about. I no longer have anxiety about getting treated but see it as a session to look forward to, learn from and better align myself - within myself. I am so proud and blessed to see such a talented team create and heal the way Angea does and I am also blessed to receive such healing. This place is the real deal! Loved every minute of my pregnancy acupuncture treatments with Amanda - the headphones with guided meditations were a highlight. She got my body feeling ready and healthy before I conceived and helped me along the way to ease back aches and pains. Highly recommend her if you are struggling to conceive or are unsure of what is best for your body.

My regular acupuncture visits with Amanda definitely helped me stay calm and relaxed throughout the pregnancy. It also helped when I had heartburn and aches during that time. She's so warm and supportive too. My baby also moved and stayed in the anterior position, perfect for labour, with Amanda's help. I highly recommend Amanda and her amazing team at Angea.

I cannot recommend Amanda from Angea enough. I went to her when I was overdue with my first baby and really didn't want to be medically induced so we booked in 3 sessions. I only made it to 2 of those sessions as I went into labour naturally the day after the second session. It was such a relaxing and incredible experience. Amanda did a guided meditation with relaxing music along with the acupuncture and moxa. She also gave me a moxa stick to take home and do myself. She also used acupuncture seeds and stuck these onto points on my hands and ankles which stayed on me leading up to labour and throughout my labour. I have Amanda to thank for the way my labour progressed. My waters broke at 12.30am Sunday morning and by 5.23am I was holding my precious baby boy. It was a drug free and natural birth with no complications. I will be contacting Amanda again when we are ready for baby number 2 and I will make sure I see her a lot earlier than the induction acupuncture. Thank you again Amanda for a wonderful and positive experience.

Amanda was such an amazing support to me both pre and during my pregnancy. The phenomenal Chinese medicine she gave me, was what I believe helped me have a short and wonderful labour. I first came across Angea on Instagram & was immediately drawn to the Chinese Medicine & natural medicine philosophies Amanda posted about. After deciding it was the right fit for me, I had my initial consult with Lauren. I was so impressed with Lauren's level of care, her warmth & attention & the thoroughness of the consult. The treatment which followed was tailored specifically for my health needs, in general & also what was showing up for on the day. I drifted off into a calm, healing meditation as I lay on the warm, cosy table, headphones on, lights off & a guided meditation playing. And since that first treatment, I've been going back ever since & still experience the same care, compassion, warmth & guidance from Amanda & Lauren & feel very much supported on my way to better health & hormones!
